Mejia Invisalign Braces

Dr. Javier Mejia born and raised in Colombia. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the Javeriana University, Bogota, in 1990. After graduating from dental school, he started to practice and perfect her skills until 1999, when he decided he wanted to move to the States. After successfully passed the National Dental Boards and all ADA requirements, he was licensed to practice in California in 2002. After several years of practicing in Southern California, and when he started his own practice, he became very involved in the Orthodontics area. After taking some continuing education classes, he was inspired to pursue higher educational training and returned to Bosque University, in his country, for 3 years of Orthodontic Specialist training, where he obtained a Masters Degree in Orthodontics.

Since Orthodontics became his profession and passion, he continues to further his knowledge in orthodontics, dentofacial orthotics, TMJ treatments and all new advances.

Dr. Mejia's expertise as a bi-lingual orthodontic specialist makes him a valuable member.

Dr. Mejia has been certified by the Dental Board of California. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the World Federation of Orthodontists. He is also a member of the California Dental Association, Orange County Dental Society, American Dental Association and American Dental Association. Dr. Mejia spends his free time with family and friends. He also enjoys music, reading, traveling and outdoor sports.
