Dr. Abby Jakob
Dr. Abby Jakob is a native of Kingsville, Ontario and has spent eight years away from home at school. She is proud to be back to serve your family's eyecare needs.

Dr. Jakob graduated from Kingsville District High school, where she played basketball and soccer, volleyball, badminton and alto saxophone with the school's jazz band, which won a gold medal! Dr. Jakob is bilingual in English and French. She received a full-ride scholarship to play basketball at Dalhousie University in Halifax, where she earned a degree with Honours in Kinesiology. She attended the Illinois College of Optometry, where she graduated summacum laude in may 2014. Her proudest achievement from optometry was being voted by her peers as "Colleague of The Year".

In her spare time, Dr. Jakob loves to spend time with her new baby girl, Max and her husband, Patrick! She loves to spend time with her family and friends, go on a boat trip to Cedar Point and travel. She also loves playing with her cat and dog.

Dr. Jakob recently welcomed Baby Dal to her family!
