Installation was efficient, and I had them come back for an annual service. However the upsell has been ongoing (3 inquiries since the service) in spite of me advising that I'm not seeking UV lights or filters right now... that is a bit too aggressive for me. (With that said it's probably typical for most HVAC installers.) Edit to original review: My god. These people call and call and call to upsell on cleaning, service, UV lights. I finally sold the house, and when they called again I let them know so they could take me off the list. Nope - then the sales pitches started up on the new place. They will not take no for an answer until you email head office and request to be removed from the list. Never again. Another edit: PLEASE. Stop calling me.

I’ve had a terrible experience with Alberta Indoor Comfort and, based on my experience, I would not recommend them. One of my biggest concerns is how the warranty and ongoing servicing requirements were explained when I purchased my air conditioner. The warranty was promoted as a benefit, but I was not made aware at the time that maintaining it would require paid annual servicing. Over the course of a 10-year warranty, those service costs can add up to thousands of dollars. I feel this should have been clearly explained upfront before making the purchase. Afterward, I received repeated phone calls about booking the annual service, even after I told them I needed time to think about it. What made this especially frustrating was that the person calling was informed that our family was dealing with a very difficult personal situation following the passing of my wife’s mother, yet the calls continued. Eventually, I booked the service appointment just to put an end to the repeated calls. Because of my shift-work schedule, the appointment had to be booked approximately three weeks in advance. On the day of the appointment, nobody showed up and nobody called to let me know there was an issue. I had to contact the company myself to find out what happened. They were unable to give me an explanation, and by the time I was able to get through, the office was closing and there was nobody available to properly address the situation. To make things worse, they then rescheduled my appointment to another date without confirming whether that date worked for me. Overall, I found the entire experience extremely unprofessional and inconvenient. Between the repeated phone calls, the lack of clear communication regarding the ongoing costs associated with maintaining the warranty, the missed appointment with no notice, and rescheduling without confirming with me, I am extremely disappointed with the customer service I received. Based on my experience, I would 100% not recommend this company. If you are considering purchasing equipment from them, I would strongly suggest asking for all warranty requirements, annual servicing costs, and other ongoing expenses in writing beforehand so you fully understand what you are committing to.

Don't contact this company because once they have your information they will spam you with multiple calls and emails every single day. I'm talking 8 emails in the last 2 days and 4 phone calls. I even told them a month ago rhwy need to chill out and they don't. They just dump your info into their AI and it just harrasess you.

If only i can rate a zero in this unreliable company then i would!! They are so bad in doing their job because it's taking them 3 weeks to fix my AC and until now it is still unfixed!! So many technicians already came and no one was able to fix this AC leak and they ruined my patio floor already! I now demand for a full refund from them and they are stalling me now telling me this and that which is 100% NOT MY PROBLEM!! To this company, if i were you just refund my money so i can get someone else BETTER to do the job and i will not stop until i get my money back. To those looking for AC installer do not ever hire them to do anything at your home. They are so bad in what they do!! Im so pissed off at them every single day!!

WORST of the WORST company I have ever dealt with. Refuse to refund my money for their useless AC. Stay away from them if you want quality service and SKILLED technicians and good product. They have an average of 12 complaints in one year! That's how worst they are!! Im still pissed off up to now!! 😡😡😡

The entire team at Alberta Indoor Comfort goes above and beyond to make you feel that they value you as a customer. Response time to resolve my issue was amazing. Jamsheed explained everything thoroughly on what was needed to be done and how to operate the system when he was finished. Tankless hot water system is amazing. A big thank you to the Alberta Indoor Comfort team.

I called, was frustrated by an AI unit answering the phone,,,I had to call twice to get through the AI. (HOW CAN I MAKE YOU SMILE TODAY) I ask for a humidity sensor for a very common Maytag M7DH45 dehumidifier. The girl says "!!! YES, SURE, NO PROBLEM" happy, happy,, happy! The person I was transferred to, happy, happy , how can I help you smile today???? Repeat the question----- oh, a, yeah, we can help you, transferred to another guy!! Happy, happy, happy, how can I help today to make me smile. Again, Maytag dehumidifier, He says "um, um, um, sorry no. What is this all about. Well, if I ask for them to repair it, no problem, spend money, happy, happy, happy. But I just want the sensor. Um, um, um, no, we don't do that. The potential customer is not happy, happy, happy. First off, don't advertise service for a customer unless you plan to provide service. Secondly, Lose the AI and talk to your customers when they call, don't frustrate them.

Dave and his partner arrived right on time at 11am, we discussed which entrance would be the best to bring the water heater through. I showed him where it was going, he shut off the necessary taps and I just left him to it. Just over an hour later he showed me the settings he had done and asked if I had any other questions, I signed off on the job and paid the bill. He had cleaned up the area, check the faucets to see if they were working okay. Within the hour I had hot water. Both Dave and his partner were very respectful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them both.

Came earlier to fix a flooding problem on a Saturday! Able to fix and checkout Air Conditioner but unable to assess furnace heating system. Apparently the heat exchange system needs seine else. But all is working fine now. Flooded basement fixed.

Your technician was good. The rate of $305 for a half an hour work is robbery at it’s best.

Never have we dealt with a company/ organization that is so dysfunctional. From start to "finish" the communication, organization and professionalism has been non existent. We hired them to help with making a legal basement suite. The work included a second furnace, ducting, smoke proofing, hard wire in the smoke detectors and install plumbing for the kitchen. (Kitchen was installed by IKEA and was well done, professional and complete in a timely manner). The owner originally told us everything would be done in about 3 weeks. It wasn't. We understand things may go over quoted time and issues arise but 5 months over is absurd. Work started strong for the first week then we were ghosted, crews stopped showing up with little to no explanation. We were having to call the company every day to find out if someone was coming to work. They would make appointments to do the work, cancel the morning of and we wouldn't hear from them until we called and harassed them to come and get the work done. Things were also not done to code. The city inspection kept failing, and they kept having to come back to repair and finish work. This work mainly with the smoke proofing and electrical. On top of that the electrical work had to be redone because breakers kept tripping. After about 5 months they told us they were done and we had to pay the remaining balance (this was before final inspection by us and the city). We went over to check and things were still incomplete and the city still could not pass it as a legal suite. Finally after about 6 months it was "complete" and the city could pass it as a legal suite and we have had no issues with anything so far. We are still waiting and calling for them to come back and repair a vent on the outside of the house that was not sealed properly and they said they would be back in April to complete it during better weather. They made an appointment and of course called and cancelled that morning without booking a new date. 1000% would never recommend! The work took 5 months longer than quoted, there were multiple damages to the inside and outside of our property. Even though they had grantees in place we had to fight to get money discounted for damages. Their "WOW" guarantees are a lie. They only honored 1 even though several were not met. Do not trust these people anywhere near your home, especially Dave who shows up to get a scope on work that's left in pajamas and a ghost buster shirt and tells you he had never been on the job before. Meanwhile we met him numerous times and had multiple text messages from the company showing his profile and picture saying he was going to be at the house completing work. This was a very unfortunate experience that no one should go through. We should have done more due diligence in researching the company as they have multiple reports on them through the better business bureau and bad reviews. Just unfortunate as we used a trustworthy referral that ended with frustration. Would never use this company in a million years. Negative stars review. The single star we have to give would be for their one employee named Jam. He was fantastic but unfortunately was only on the job for a short time after we were told he was supposed to be the lead hand. He was sadly moved to other projects as ours was neglected.

Indoor Comfort went above and beyond when replacing my poly B piping. Their technician put in an incredibly long day so that the job could be completed - That effort was very much appreciated and definitely not the norm from my experience. I would recommend Indoor Comfort for any Plumbing or HVAC needs.

Mohabat. In days long past words were whispered. Medicine man. Healer. Wizard. Our AC unit might have been working as well as it ever had but where some might have seen perfection Mo aspired to more. As he approached unit I felt the deep mutual respect shared between the two. It was as if time had stopped just for them. I know now what I didn’t know then. The unit had bound itself to Mo. The work was simply breathtaking. Every movement a silent symphony. There’s was a tale of heartache and desire. The clouds wept as the grass simply swayed in awe and with deep comfort and respect. With Mo long since departed I can reflect back now on the depth and breadth of professionalism, knowledge, courtesy and value embodied by Mo. A tautology. Perfection. The AC is performing at a level beyond the spectrum of human understanding. Infinity.

Shane Robertson is the Chuck Norris of residential indoor comfort inspections. Songs will be written about his valour and glory. Simply being on premises while he worked was like being in the crowd while Hendrix played The Star Spangled Banner at Woodstock. Shane has forged a path that many will follow. It takes Shane Robertson to lead.
