I don't know where to start so I guess I will start with top notch service from Hayden he went beyond to try making something out of nothing but with a burnt up condenser you have to break the bad news which he said was the hardest part of his job.. you could really tell he cares about his job and the quality he puts into it. Now for Tom he made me feel like family, both times I talked with him he got things moving in the right direction me thinking our a/c wouldn't get installed till later next week he somehow worked me into tomorrow's schedule and with temperatures in the 100s the rest of this week and into next I am forever grateful for Alpha! Thank you!!

Working with Alpha was the best experience after having bad luck with other contractors lately. They provided very clear and constant communication, were on time, and completed the job quickly.

After multiple visits and part replacements, we decided to install an entire new HVAC unit. With temperatures around 100° for a week my house got very hot, but they helped me manage that with a couple portable air conditioners. Install finish today and the house is slowly cooling off. The entire team is very nice, respectful and very helpful.

Mike arrived at house on the time. Mike provided pictures of everything he did of he did for maintence that day. He was very professional and did an amazing job. He didn't mind my crazy dogs jumping. I would highly recommend Alpha to anyone looking for a great maintence plan.

I recently hired Alpha to do a full A/C and furnace replacement. Tom was my primary contact through the quoting and installation process. There were a lot of things I really liked about Tom, and I selected Alpha to do the install out of four contractors. Here is why: 1. I was not able to be home during the initial meeting due to travel and Tom treated my wife with respect/kindness and offered some specific tips to help us limp along our A/C for a few weeks while I finished the bidding process. 2. Tom included the City permit as a line item in the quote, unprompted. Several other contractors said "eh, we can pull a permit if you really want us to" which is not confidence inspiring when making a major purchase such as a mechanical system. Permitting as a standard process during installation means the contractor has no concerns about their work meeting code. Not surprisingly, the inspection passed with no issues. 3. I'm a details person. I want to understand the system, the warranties, the mechanical differences between brand/model/system so that I can make the best decision for long term system reliability in a system that should last 15+ years. Tom answered my many questions, was always patient and worked with me as a partner, not just a salesperson. I really appreciate this about Tom. I never felt pressured or rushed during the sales process. 4. We determined that my specific system was eligible for a Evergy rebate and Tom handled the entire process for me. Sweet! Cash back! 5. Warranty registration/certificate were sent to me via email immediately following the installation, and the City inspection was scheduled on my behalf. 6. Tom installs and sells multiple brands, but recommended Amana as it's both engineered and built in America and has good parts availability as the Amana HQ is in Houston. As long as the price is pretty competitive, I'm all for supporting American jobs. Amana has some of the longest warranties in the market and generally uses common parts such as the Copeland scroll compressor for the A/C condenser. Parts availability is a critical part of buying an HVAC system. Wichita summers are hot, winters are cold, and you want to buy a brand with good parts availability so that if something does happen, you can get same-day or next-day service. Amana also uses R32 refrigerant, which I understand is simpler from a service perspective as it can be topped off if a leak happens (after repair) rather than requiring a recharge, as well as having a much longer installation history and easy availability (lower cost). I learned much of this from Tom, by the way, and verified it to the best of my ability when researching systems. 7. Last, but not least, Alpha was neither the most expensive nor the cheapest bid I got for comparable systems. Good work isn't cheap, and cheap work isn't good. However, no one wants to overpay for services that are relatively similar. Based on the other three quotes I got, I'm confident that I paid a fair price for the installation. I'm very happy with the installation quality and the technicians (Brett and Mike) and my house is now cooling wonderfully. If you made it this far into my review, the good news is, the hard work is done for you! You can go ahead and call Alpha - they passed all my tests, and I think they'll pass yours as well.

David Railsback with Alpha HVAC and plumbing came to take care of a leak we had with a 2nd floor bathtub. He was extremely thorough, worked cleanly and cleaned up afterwards, and was very respectful. His language and mannerisms were very professional. He also did great work and refused to make shortcuts or even maybe it will work. He went the extra mile to make sure we wouldn’t have the problem again. Thanks Alpha and thanks David!

Another excellent seasonal "maintenance agreement" visit from Alpha. Tom called to conveniently schedule & Brett was on time, personable, and thorough. Appreciated the report of a low capacitor report so the MFD could be replaced, instead of an emergency call this summer when it predictably would've gone out 😅 Alpha always delivers great service!!
