• We recently had Anacapa Heating & Air install a completely new HVAC system at Firefly Ceramics after our old system completely stopped working. We got our quote from Tate on Monday, and just two days later, they had our new system installed! Tate was great! Professional, knowledgeable, and in and out quickly. The installation crew was amazing as well and had the entire unit installed and running in only about 6 hours. They even made sure to get everything finished before we opened the shop at 12 PM so it didn’t interfere with our customers. The whole process was quick, easy, and stress free. We’re so happy to have AC back at Firefly Ceramics and would definitely recommend Anacapa Heating & Air!

• They installed a brand-new A/C system in our home last year. Unfortunately, it recently stopped working, even though it’s still under warranty. We’ve called this company at least 10 times and rarely get an answer. We finally spoke with someone last week, and they told us to call back on Monday, but once again, no one answered or returned our calls. They were very responsive when we were buying the new equipment, but their customer service completely disappeared afterward. We eventually had to hire a third-party technician to get our A/C fixed. • After several years of procrastinating and having multiple contractors telling us a wide variety of things about a new AC installation, I finally found Anacapa Heating and Air. Every aspect of the process was top notch from the office responding to my inquiry, to the free estimate, to the completed installation. Jimmy the estimator, knowledgeably explained the pros and cons of a heat pump, a traditional air conditioner and whether or not to use a gas furnace for heating. He measured our house for design of our new ducting system. He sat right down and wrote up three estimates on the spot and helped us decide on the best approach. With Jimmy’s advice I feel strongly that we made the right choice. I’ve been thinking of adjectives to describe Brian, Luis, Tyler and the entire installation team. These come to mind: competent, punctual, skilled, conscientious, respectful, hard-working and polite. I could tell that they cared about doing the job right. My wife summed it up, “they were amazing!” There were never fewer than four persons working at all times and the job was completed in two and one half days. We are enjoying our new air conditioning now during this summer heat wave.

• I never knew of a company that tried so hard at trying to lose potential revenue. I have been calling them to get a quote for over two weeks to have them provide me an estimate for two rooftop HVAC's for my commercial building. They dont answer the phone, they say they emailed the estimate when they didnt, then say their computer is glitching and cant resend it. If this is how they run their back-office operations I am happy they are not getting any of my business approximately $30K saved. To the owner your staff needs to learn about how follow up with potential customers and answer telephones... each time I called it always went to vmail rarely a live person. The individual who I dealt with mostly was Ashley who was full of excuses and never provided an estimate.

• I have an older home with an outdated and Mickey Moused system. I contacted Anacapa Heating and Air to get a proposal to replace the entire system and add air conditioning. They were prompt with a proposal that we could agree on and were able to start within a few days. It was not an easy job as the existing unit was located in the crawl space, but they did an excellent installation of the new unit and were exceptionally easy to communicate and work with. • David was amazing!! he was honest with me about our system, I have not serviced our HVAC unit in 10 years and I just wanted a tune up and any cleaning it needed. He was surprised how clean our system was and that it was still running in tip top shape. I asked him if it needed any cleaning and he said it was still clean and did not need to be cleaned. He did not try to upsell me on any additional services. He did replace the capacitor at no additional costs to keep the unit running at full capacity. They charged me $130 to do a HVAC tune up and I’m glad I chose Anacapa. He also cleaned the outside fan unit to keep the coils clean. Before Anacapa came out, I had an Air Duct company come out a couple days before to look at my ducts to see if they needed cleaning. But they did not see anything bad that needed cleaning, so I wanted to wait for Anacapa to service my HVAC unit and get their opinion my air ducts at the same time. David looked at the ducts and said they do not need cleaning and a huge part of that is because I change my HVAC air filter every few months to keep dirt and dust out of the system. The way I decided on Anacapa was using google Gemini AI to help me decide on a company I was looking for. Happy with my decision. 5 stars!!
