As a consumer and an environmental and peace activist, I been interested to get a heat pump for some time. Jamieson is the first person that I have ever found that was able to explain to me clearly how a heat pump works and its benefits to me as a consumer and also as a human being living on a planet facing a climate emergency. I found the service that I received both from Jamieson as well as all of the other employees associated with Belyea Brothers exemplary. This has also been the case with our maintenance calls with Belyea Brothers as well.

We contacted Belyea when our regular HVAC technician was unavailable and our system broke down during the recent storm. The technician was polite and respectful; however, the only follow-up we received was a quote for an entirely new system. We were told we'd also receive a quote to repair our less-than-10-year-old system, which we never received. (We were also told the repair would likely cost approximately $2,000–$3,000, so we should really consider a new system.) After never receiving a repair quote, we had our regular technician come out, who replaced the control board in under an hour for a couple hundred dollars. I can't help but feel we were being upsold on a new system we clearly didn't need. Safe to say we'll stick with our regular HVAC technician going forward.

Jamieson, Roman, and ZB were great. We have a complicated AC system in a very tight attic space, and they were able to diagnose and fix an issue that others couldn’t. Their expertise and problem-solving were clear throughout the process. Highly recommend.

I have been trying to get this Heat Pump that was corruptly installed by KW Energy (Run! Don’t walk away from ever doing anything with this company…) This is finally accompany that addressed the problem, got the part and finally made it to Fix It after three summers without Main floor air-conditioning. Grateful for their work.

Called them Friday evening for emergency AC service. Woman on the phone said they’d call me back in an hour, or “sometime that evening at the latest” for sure. I also called Laird & Sons and they had a tech out within an hour. Belyea called me back Monday morning 😂. So much for “emergency service”. Highly recommend Laird & Sons instead. Extremely prompt and great service.

We have been relying on Belyea Bros. for more than 20 years. They service our radiators m, ductless air conditioners as well as our instant-hot-water (Navien) systems. They are prompt, attentive to details, and efficient. From the first call to Belyea Bros ‘s to the final clean up; I am always impressed with how courteous they are, how they listen to and deal with our issues; and the speed of their responses. Clean, clear, consistent all down the line. It’s actually refreshing to deal with these professionals. Thank you again.

They came over and diagnosed my mini split, which, granted, is older. They quoted $1200 for a 1 hour install of a $100 part, in addition to the already $200 that I paid for the first diagnostic service call. Then they made an appointment for a salesman to come over and presumably subject me to a high pressure sales pitch for a replacement system. Needless to say I found a smaller company who did the diagnostic, will deduct that off the cost of the repair, and all in it will be a third the cost of Belyea. Go on, use Belyea Brothers. Belyea has a solid 5 star review all around, but for God's sake **shop around!!*

As luck would have it my a/c decided to die in the middle of summer. I had another company/competitor attempt to service and provide an estimate for replacement. The price was significant so I wanted to ensure I had another estimate or two before I proceeded. Jamieson from Belyea Bros was super pleasant to deal with. He was able to offer two options that were better priced than the options I had previously received. No hard sell tactics. Provided 2 good options...better SEER ratings. Estimates included 10yr warranty parts and labor plus a new wifi enabled thermostat (both were extra in the other estimate). I needed the install asap because I was about to travel. Belyea was able turn it around in a week. The install folks were super pleasant, on time, very neat. Needed to take a piece of fence apart. Returned everything to picture perfect state. Couldn't be more satisfied!

I called this company because their website clearly advertises "Free Estimates." However, when they called me, I was told there is a mandatory charge just for the visit/diagnostic. An estimate isn't free if you have to pay a fee just to get the technician to your door to look at the system. When I pointed out what was stated on their website, they refused to honor it. I understand companies have overhead and travel costs, but they need to be upfront about their pricing instead of using "free" as clickbait to get a foot in the door. It’s completely misleading. Save yourself the surprise fee and call a company that actually stands by their

I recently had a new Viessmann heating system installed by Belya Bros. Limited, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Jamieson provided exceptional attention and service from the very beginning—he took the time to visit our home, walk us through all the options, and help us decide on the system that best suited our needs. His patience and clarity made the process easy and stress‑free. The installation team, led by Christoph, was equally impressive. They arrived prepared, worked efficiently, and demonstrated real craftsmanship throughout the installation. Their attention to detail was evident in every step, and the job was completed quickly without compromising quality. I’m truly grateful to Jamieson, Christoph, and the whole crew for their professionalism and outstanding work. I highly recommend Belya Bros. Limited for anyone considering a heating system upgrade. Couldn’t be happier with Belyea Bros. for the installation of my Viessmann indirect water tank! From start to finish, the experience was seamless and professional. A special shoutout to Jamieson, who went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect — he took the time to ensure the installation was done right and was a good communicator. Will deal with this company again.

Had a yearly check up on my Air conditioner. The service technician ( sorry forgot his name) arrived at on time, covered his shoes so he would not get my floors dirty and answered all questions that I had. Totally thorough in his inspection and left all area clean. Excellent Service!!

We chose Belyea Electrical due to a situation where the homeowner is a senior who absolutely needs AC on hot days. The job required coordination with a Hydro disconnect / reconnect, and my gut said Belyea would handle this well. They did. In fact, the coordination was exceptional, and their workmanship was A++. Throughout the process, all our questions were answered, and the team members were smart, efficient, and friendly. Looking back, it’s clear we made the right choice in not going with several lowballers we found on HomeStars. We are very satisfied with Belyea’s response and performance.

The Belyea Bros. Team, led by Richard who sourced the pump ahead of the job minimizing down time. Richard was extremely helpful, courteous and always available to answer any questions. We had Belyea Bros install an AtticPak mini duct a/c system in our older home. From the initial quote to completion, the Belyea team were knowledgeable, transparent with pricing and available options, and professional. The job took the two days they initially quoted and the crew were clean, efficient, and kept me informed along the way. From my experience, Belyea Bros truly are experts in older homes and I highly recommend them.

WARNING: EXTREMELY DISHONEST, DISREPUTABLE COMPANY My recent experience with them has left me disgusted by two separate incidents of their dishonesty. (Note: all I needed was for my boiler to be replaced) 1) The Belyea Bros agent told me that my hydronic heating system was installed incorrectly and needed to be ripped out and installed correctly. For this, I was given a quote of $25,000 (compare this to the five other quotes of $8,000-$12,000 I got to replace my boiler). After having to cancel a scheduled installation by an HVAC company that turned out to be unfamiliar with hydronic in-floor heating systems, I misinterpreted this as evidence that Belyea Bros were correct, and that my system was installed incorrectly (Note: this was NOT the case. My system is installed correctly, and works properly.) So I asked for a second consult with the agent (Jamieson) from Belyea Bros, who reviewed with me the system he had detailed on his first visit, drawing exactly the same diagram (with the 5 pumps and buffer tank he claimed were necessary to preserve the life of my boiler and prevent it from "short cycling"). He wrote up an updated quote at the same price, and scheduled the work to be done on Tuesday-Wednesday of the following week. 2) On this second quote, I discovered that the detailed components that Jamieson described for me in detail and that he drew diagrams for - were not included in the work order! I was being charged for components to be installed that I was not receiving. This work order contained nothing about ripping out and replacing my current regulating system. Apparently, this was not necessary as my system IS INSTALLED CORRECTLY, AND WORKS JUST FINE! So, had I not noticed the discrepancies, Belyea Bros was about to charge me $25,000 for the simple replacement of my boiler - a job that should cost $8,000-$12,000!!! To make matters worse, when I called Jamieson after having detected these discrepancies, he pretended he had made a mistake, and offered me a $6,000 discount (so, a new price of $19,000 for a $8,000-$12,000 job!) as though he was being generous! NOTE: In the end (after five weeks without heat and hot water), I scheduled the boiler replacement to be done by a company that specialises in hydronic heating systems (at a price of $11,500). They were immediately familiar with my system (which had confused contractors more familiar with forced air heating systems). When I shared that a particular company had tried to rip me off, the contractor interrupted me, saying, "Let me guess. Was it Belyea Brothers?" Apparently my experience was not uncommon.

We had a great experience, our furnace died on the second day of the year and Jamieson was there within hours. He walked us through all of our options, gave us some provisional space heaters as the install was completed (which was smooth and efficient), and there were no surprises on the billing. System still works great, highly recommend!!
