• THEY INSTALL IN HILO!!!! I couldn't find a Hawaii Energy vendor in Hilo and was referred by my friend in HNL to Craig's Air. Craig called me right away to introduce himself and then Jordan in Hilo called me right after to schedule a consult so I could get the install and credit before the end of the year. Not only are they a Hawaii Energy vendor, they gave fantastic service, follow up, not to mention the price was unbeatable. They even helped me get an electrician to help with the electrical box. The Installers were professional and provided good suggestions on best placement inside and out and told me to call any time if I had any questions or needed help. They replaced many electrical components on my split AC after a gecko fried the board. Shortly after the repair the unit quit working again and Craig's came back at no cost to repair it again and did extra work to ensure it would not happen again. • Outstanding Experience with Craig's Air Conditioning Professionalism and Efficiency at Its Best A family member recommended Craig's Air Conditioning to me, speaking highly of Mr. Jordon Rodriques. He was impressed by Jordon's professionalism and the detailed information he provided during the job estimate and installation. I contacted the company headquarters in Honolulu to arrange a job estimate and was informed that Jordon would be in touch within a few days. To my surprise, he contacted me that very afternoon and scheduled a convenient date and time for our meeting. On the day of the inspection and estimate, Jordon spent about an hour and thirty minutes meticulously explaining the job details, including the cost and duration. I signed the contract, made the down payment, and awaited the installation date. On the day of installation, Jordon provided specific details regarding the time required to complete the installation, which was crucial for me as I had just finished renovating my home. After giving me this information, he diligently began his work, and I did not see him again until his workday ended. The next day, he introduced me to his coworker, Kekoa, and the same pattern followed. Both gentlemen worked tirelessly, and I did not see them until 5:00 p.m. each day. Two days later, the job was completed! Without a doubt, this was the best experience I have had in terms of proficiency and expediency. Jordon and Kekoa exemplified professionalism. During our discussions, I learned that Jordon is a veteran who served in the Armed Forces, and Kekoa has family members who have also served. This background, I believe, contributed to their articulate and thorough approach throughout the process. • It has been a nightmare trying to fix my Daikin ac unit. I called Craig’s because I used them in the past to clean my ac units and they were great. But our master bedroom unit was blowing warm air and I asked them to see what the problem was.. they scheduled a technician to troubleshoot the problem and he determined that it was a problem with the board. They replaced the board but the problem was not fixed..they said that on the Daikin units they are 2 boards and that the other one was probably not good. The next call I got from Craig’s was that they were going to change the whole condenser for free. They put in the new Daikin condenser unit and the problem was still not resolved…all the while I’m being charged the labor fees which are now approaching close to a thousand dollars!! The technician came back and determined that it was now the indoor unit that had a problem. I called to complain to Craig’s and said that I’m not paying for any more labor fees because they can’t seem to find the problem. After a lengthy conversation..they said that they would remove all the rest of my outstanding labor charges but..my ac unit is still blowing warm air. They were supposed to order the indoor unit parts but I don’t have any information that they did. I am utterly frustrated with their technicians and customer service.. I feel that they aren’t experts in fixing this particular Daikin ac unit Very poor service.

He diligently gave me updates as he was servicing, and even showed me pics of what he saw while servicing unit in ceiling. James was the best service tech I’ve had with Craig’s. I was however over charged for a chemical cleaning, when I only had a routine cleaning. I had to inform them that I was overcharged. And I also did not get the $75 instant rebate credit from Hawaii Energy, even though Craig’s is a participating contractor.
