  • Disappointing service from a company with such great reviews. I had a technician come by in July who advised that I needed a new AC unit and said a quote would be provided. After that, I experienced multiple missed appointments for a follow-up technician to come take measurements. On several occasions, I received a text saying the technician was on the way, only for them to never show up. This was especially frustrating for my tenant, who was dealing with the situation during a heat wave. After multiple no-shows and wasted time, I called to request a refund of my service fee, as no meaningful progress had been made. Unsurprisingly, I never received a call back. The lack of communication, reliability, and follow-through was disappointing. Based on my experience, I would recommend looking for another company that values your time and delivers on its commitments.

  • Last week we call Dr HVAC to have our upper level toilet repaired. They responded quickly with an appointment date that suited our time frame. Service person Marcus arrived being previously apprised of the situation. He did his own onsite assessment and provided a couple of options to consider, repair or replace. Marcus gave us a complete estimate for both including installation and taxes, straight forward and simple. Since the toilet was 23 years old we chose replacement. He acquired and installed a new toilet and replaced the toilet shut off valve with an updated version all within the same morning. The area was left spotless. The soldering was neat and even, evidence of his skill as a plumber. Marcus was professional and courteous. We would request him again if needed and would have no problem recommending him to others.   • The technician arrived on time. HAVC emailed to me a photo and name of the technician before his arrival. He was very polite. He took photos of my furnace and AC, explained to me the condition of my unit after doing an inspection. They had a promotion, the inspection fee was $69.

Their responsiveness and flexibility were fantastic and the technician (Ty) was on time, professional, courteous, knowledgeable, thorough and personable. He also went above and beyond by proactively securing a drain hose that had been precariously installed, despite the fact that he was not required to do so as part of the routine maintenance he was performing. Great job, Ty and Dr. HVAC!

  • Ty came out to do a routine maintenance of my boiler and ductless AC units after moving into a new house. He identified a lot of build up and mould in the AC units and he provided an estimate and we scheduled a deep clean. Ty and Noah came back a week later and disassembled and deep cleaned the indoor and outdoor units, removing dust and mould and significantly improving the air quality. Ty and Noah were both very friendly, professional, efficient, and tidy. It was very easy to book appointments and get estimates with clear confirmations and communication. You could maybe find a slightly cheaper service but the service and convenience are very good value and 100% worth the cost.

  • Very pleased with the service provided by the team! Bryan came to check out my AC which had a boat load of issues. He was very kind and thorough, he explained what was going on and walked me through what the next steps going forward would be, awesome guy! We ended up needing to replace the whole unit, as well as our furnace cause that was also causing issues previously, so Paul then came and discussed packages and plans thoroughly and honestly, we had a bit of a hard time trying to figure out what was best for us and we were very grateful for his patience and guidance through the process! The two gentlemen who came to replace both units were also very kind and amazing at what they do, sadly I didn't get their names. They put mats down throughout the house and kept everything clean and organized, we're happy with the product! It's refreshing to see a team that actually cares about their clients and the work they do, it shows in their work! Thank you all :)
