  • Frosties did an outstanding job in helping diagnose and fix an AC issue I just ran into. Compressor went out on one of my AC units. Used my home warranty and Frosties was out within a day, Jose the tech diagnosed the issue and got my parts ordered. Jose did a great job explaining the issue and what we would fix. When he came back with the parts got right to work and had me back up and cooling within a few hours. Frosties front office followed up from the start and kept me updated throughout the process and even after work was complete to make sure I was well taken care of.

  • Split-Unit EXPERTS! I tried 4 other “Big” companies but none serviced Split units or didn’t have the staff. Frosty’s man was extremely knowledgeable and quickly and efficiently solved the problem. He also counseled us on its proper use. That saved us time and money. I’ll ONLY use them in the future and highly recommend their services. Thanks!

  • ⚠️ WARNING: Unprofessional Installation, Failed Inspection, and Zero Documentation We trusted Frosty’s HVAC because they were dispatched as a "PRO" contractor by American Home Shield (AHS). It has been an absolute nightmare. After charging us $1,500 for a Freon recharge that failed in two weeks, they convinced us to buy a brand-new Carrier system. They took our full payment on August 8 and left us with a broken, unsafe installation. Here is what they did to our home: * Ran the system empty: They left the air filter sitting on the attic floor. The system ran completely unprotected for 24 hours, sucking attic dust and insulation straight into the new components. * Dangerous outdoor placement: They crammed the condenser onto the very edge of the pad because they were too lazy to extend the short wiring. It was completely unstable until we forced them to fix it. * Failed City Inspection: A city inspector came out on August 19 and discovered a major safety hazard with the drain lines that would have caused massive structural water damage to our home. * Active leaks: There is an active Freon leak at the condenser valve and a massive air leak where the air handler meets the ductwork. * Terrible performance: There is almost zero airflow in the master bedroom. We have to sleep with all the doors wide open just to get a breeze. * Bizarre noises: The outdoor unit has a deafening, continuous hum, and the walls are making loud gurgling noises where the lines run. * Holding our paperwork hostage: It has been weeks since we paid in full, and they flat-out refuse to give us our receipts, paid invoices, or equipment manuals. We can't even register our manufacturer warranty or apply for rebates without them. Do not trust this company, and do not trust AHS's recommendations. We are currently escalating this to the state and taking formal action. Avoid Frosty’s HVAC at all costs!

  • DON’T BOOK! I never write reviews and this company was the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. The tech didn’t speak English so we weren’t able to fully understand the issues. I asked for them to send someone next time that could speak English so I could ask questions and they literally told me they could call me after the guy leaves to update me. Our AC was working but it wasn’t optimal and after they installed the replacement part the AC unit quit entirely. After no AC all weekend I called Monday and they didn’t take accountability, didn’t come back out to check what happened, wouldn’t respond to my texts for updates, didn’t respond to our home warranty calling, and failed to give them the information they needed to move forward which cost us an entire week of no progress. We asked for a second opinion with a different company and it was evaluated and sent to our insurance company within the same day. I specifically asked Frosty’s to update me and do the best they could as we have a baby that had to be removed from the house due to the heat and they continued to not be active in assisting. Absolutely horrible business!

  • The technician who inspected our issue came off as deeply inexperienced and immediately defensive when asked to explain the issue. Prior to his arrival, our A/C unit was working. The only issue was a broken PVC pipe along with a small amount of water in our drip pan. After the technician was in our attic our A/C unit stopped working. When asked about what happened, he sarcastically said “It must have tripped due to the water in the pan. I don’t carry water in my pocket, ma’am. I didn’t put it there.” We have pictures that showed water in the pan while our A/C was functioning, so this suggested he really didn’t know what he was doing. We asked if he could undo whatever he did up there to make the A/C stop working and he stated, “I can’t because I won’t get paid for it and he had to submit to insurance.” We understood that our original issue wouldn’t be fixed, however, we thought it was a reasonable ask to turn our A/C back on since it wasn’t the original issue and only occurred after him being up there. While fixing it ourselves, we realized he had opened a panel and didn’t shut it, which caused our A/C unit to turn off. I think it says a lot about a company that they would come in your home, “inspect” an issue, cause a new issue and leave you without A/C in the middle of a Texas summer. My personal favorite comment of the technician was telling us to call the front office if we had an issue.. we had to remind him that his front office at 5pm. To which he replied, “Oh yeah.”

  • While I eventually heard from them—after having to call—I do appreciate their effort to repair my AC unit. However, I am extremely disappointed that they failed to clean up afterward. This is entirely unprofessional, and leaving the area in such a state is unacceptable.

  • Frosty's HVAC provided one of the worst service experiences I've had. We were given a 4-hour service window, but the technician arrived 4 hours late, showing up around 8:00 PM. The inspection was rushed and incomplete, missing significant damage that we had to identify and report ourselves to both Frosty's and American Home Shield. Even more concerning, the technician recommended replacing only the R22 condenser to American Home Shield. Frosty's own website recommends full system replacement when expensive repairs are needed on an R22 system due to refrigerant phase-out and compatibility concerns. When American Home Shield asked Frosty's to explain the discrepancy and where they planned to source a compatible R22 condenser in 2026, they canceled the work order instead of providing an answer. Late arrival, poor inspection, conflicting recommendations, and no accountability.

  • Frosty’s fixed our AC issue quickly.

  • The air conditioning in my house stopped blowing cold air last night. I chose Frosty’s HVAC and made the right choice. My HVAC Tech Tony was quick to diagnose the issue, which was the capacitor was faulty. He had it changed out in under 15 minutes and then stuck around to ensure that it was indeed blowing cold air. He also checked to be sure all readings were within range! Tony was polite, friendly, and a true professional. 5 stars out of 5, highly recommend this company!

  • Tony and his Co-worker we're very efficient, friendly, accommodating and made sure everything worked before they left. I can truly recommend this company for any HVAC issues. If the need should arise again we will definitely go back to Tony and his coworker at Frosty HVAC.

    Omar J.

  • My Tech Tony was really efficient and professional. He really explained to my what was wrong with my units and what the solution would be in a very timely manner. I’d definitely use Frosty’s again.

  • Reached out to this company several times due to AC issues. They were contracted by my home warranty, but they've never answered the phones in 4 days. I understand this weekend was an holiday, but 3rd (Friday) 6th (Monday) 7th (Tuesday) still no response. Finally after about 20 attempts and message sent, the home warranty company stated they finally got a hold of them but does not service Midlothian area. Thanks for wasting time in this hot weather to atleast get my unit assessed and repairs. Will not recommend solely on the lack of communication this company has.

  • Emergency AC repair on July 4th and George was here within the hour.

    Scott J.

  • The Service Tech was fast, friendly, professional, and on time. Very fair price. Less than 1/3 what some other hvac companies were quoting for R22 recharge.

    James F.

  • George just left our residence and did an absolutely amazing job coming in and making repair on our AC unit. Another company called five star HVAC quoted us a cost of over $10,000 to completely replace a unit. He advised us that that the situation described by the previous company was exceedingly rare and in his over one decade experience in the trade, he had only seen that particular instance twice. He came in he replaced the capacitor on our AC unit and was kind enough to go into our attic to give us the correct sizes of filters to replace our filters, as well as replace some leads in our AC unit. George is a professional through and through and I would highly recommend Frosty's HVAC for all repair needs. I am glad to see some companies still put people over profits.
