• Had a really poor experience getting a quote from Heritage. My gas boiler heating system was working intermittently and they came and spent 2+ hours looking at it. They then quoted me $75,000 (!) to replace the whole thing, including my air conditioning unit which did not need replacing (they insisted they had to replace both at the same time due to “code”). Not true. I ran their itemized quote through an AI model which told me that every line item was absurdly inflated - they were charging me top dollar for mediocre equipment, 10k just for electrical work (outrageous), as well as baking in a ton of margin for silly items like a 10 year guarantee. In the end, I hired a different smaller local company to come and look at my boiler. After 30 minutes, they simply let some air bubbles out of the pipes and the heat has worked great ever since. They charged me $180. I would be very careful when getting a quote from Heritage. Make sure you get it itemized and run it through AI to make sure the pricing is reasonable.
