• EDIT as of 8/3: This is my final response. The one-star review remains for the original reasons stated. In addition, your company allegedly contacted my landlord multiple times to have this review removed, publicly shared my landlord’s personal email address in your original response, and you have now published my full name after I intentionally changed it to protect my privacy. That conduct is unprofessional and only reinforces my review. I wish you all the best. As I said before, your business has many positive reviews, but that was not my experience. It’s possible the company tried calling my cell and I simply missed it or couldn’t answer. I didn’t receive any voicemail as result of the attempt. When I called the company’s phone number listed on their website, the phone system gave me the option to leave a message or text, so I texted and did not hear back. As for the email the company referenced, that’s tied to my landlord. To be fair to the company, while I found their response to my review unprofessional, it’s possible my landlord being the intermediary for booking caused the initial issue. Though, I don’t think that explains the no response to my direct call attempt and text. ORIGINAL: I chose this company because of their great reviews, hoping to get my AC cleaned. My landlord booked an appointment for Sunday at 3pm. Then the company said they could no longer make the appointment without explanation. We rebooked for Monday at 11:30am, but no one showed up. I followed up via phone/text an hour post appointment time and still haven’t received a response to this day. Not sure what happened here, especially given their positive reviews. Unfortunately, this was my experience.

• The folks at Pigeon were fantastic. Responsive, honest, willing to work on price to the extent possible and hard working. Alexey was our technician - he called to say he was running a bit behind (ten minutes) and was there in that window. We had 6 Medea ACs that had to be cleaned, have a recalled issue fixed (we didn’t deal directly with Medea during the time frame to get this fixed) and then have them reinstalled throughout the house. Alexey was easy to work with, took care with the process as we had recently had brand new windows installed and also provided some tips for ongoing maintenance that we could perform ourselves. • I had a confirmed AC removal appointment scheduled for 11:00 AM. The technician contacted me at around 9:20 AM saying they would arrive over an hour early and then expected me to be available or reschedule. When I explained that my appointment was at 11 and I was not available earlier, I was told I had to move the appointment to another day because they had a doctor’s appointment at 11:00 AM. Arriving over an hour early without advance notice does not equal being on time, and customers should not be expected to rearrange their schedules to accommodate poor planning. They provided the 11:00 AM time. If they needed to get it done earlier, they should have given me an earlier time slot. This resulted in a complete waste of time and unnecessary frustration. I would not recommend this company if you expect basic professionalism. I ended up calling 1-800-GOT-JUNK after cancelling my appointment. Not only were they able to arrive at my originally scheduled 11:00 AM time, but they were cheaper and all around more professional.

• I wish I could speak to their actual services but, well, despite booking services for a AC disposal pickup on Friday, when Tuesday—the date of the appointment—came around, they were unable to show up. This was after already attempting to rebook me WITHOUT CONSULTING ME and only by sending me a Google calendar invite the day before my appointment. I texted them to let them know I needed to do Tuesday, as I would have a friend helping me—a 115 lb person—to uninstall and carry two window AC units down a five floor walk up, and Tuesday was the only day they were available. They say, okay, they’ll reschedule to Tuesday, as I ORIGINALLY BOOKED. Day of, I get a call while I’m at work, asking if they can come at 4:00 pm since they’re 20 minutes away. I tell them I can’t be there until 7 pm at the absolute earliest, and I still needed to uninstall my units and have my friend help me take them downstairs. I am told they may need to reschedule but am given no follow up. Thankfully, I booked another company, which I had to do DAY OF as I wasn’t informed of them being unable to come until THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT. Come 6:30 pm, when I call the see if they can still do 8:00 pm (note: they never called me to tell me if they needed to reschedule!), I’m told that, no, they can’t do today. What about tomorrow? Absolutely unprofessional. My friend and I planned our day around this; we were trying to make this an easy pick up and prevent needing someone to climb up five flights, uninstall two AC units, and then take them downstairs. All it was was a pick up, nothing more, and yet this company couldn’t even manage that. If someone makes a booking for a specific time through your website, days in advance, explains why that time is needed to you directly when you already try to reschedule them WITHOUT CONSULTING THEM the day before the scheduled appointment, and you tell them you can do the work as scheduled, make sure you can actually do the work.
