• Our air-conditioner went out on a Saturday afternoon while we were gone. We made due till Monday morning with a window unit in our bedroom. Monday morning I called and by 12 they were at the house and by 3 had my unit up and running. Bobby was our technician and he was an outstanding person and technician. • Anyone that read my previous review?I was completely wrong about this company! Had a working AC and some water in a drip pan. This was found by an inspector surveying the property for a buyer. Called this company. Technician said I was low on freon. So I paid for freon. Next day AC was not working and all the freon was gone. Called the company back out and they said I needed a whole new AC!! Wanted $11000 + to install it. Luckily I found a truly honest repair technician and now have a functioning system. Oh and FYI this company records you without asking permission or notifying you first!! Yeah talking to legal....

• Update on installation - you can tell a lot about a company when something isn't quite right, after all, anyone can be great when things go as expected. We had a couple issues that needed to be resolved. I'm sure there are companies that would not agree or propose a simpler fix or just walk away. Not SCM, this company did the right thing, quickly and completely to make the corrections. From Dallas to Maggie to Wes to Selena to Cody and Eric, all were professional, helpful when something wasn't right, thorough and most of all, patient with our questions and concerns. This company is one you can put your trust in and know that they will do the right thing, even when something goes wrong, in fact they are the ones who brought the issue to our attention. You can tell a lot about a company when things don't go as planned, again, anyone can get a 5-star rating when things go smoothly. SMC gets another 5-stars from us! Installation complete with just a couple questions to be answered that we are confident will get resolved. Cool air again, thanks to the entire team. Maggie scheduled the work and was easy to work with, Dallas handled questions and was patient when I kinda freaked out during the afternoon, Josh again was professional and fun to work with (have to have some fun when doing something this major!), Wes was kind to help and review the work and Charlie was THE BEST! His entire team, sorry can't remember the names, were great and got the work done in the heat of the day. Even vacuumed inside and swept the garage! Thanks to everyone, our home is cool again and ready for August. I'm sure I have left out someone and I apologize, thankfully everyone at Southern Comfort Mechanical is great to work with! OUCH - need some work done, more than we expected. That said, we trust these folks and Josh was helpful, explaining all in detail. We know the work will be done correctly. Customer 'care' is even better than customer 'service' - that's what this company does, they care about their customers. Marilyn was GREAT!
