Our hot water heater broke over the weekend. Ted Dumont responded first thing Monday morning and had it fixed quickly. Ben was amazing to work with, even as he had to crawl through our cobweb riddled cellar first thing in the morning to get to the heater. Ted Dumont installed my AC and heat pump in 2020. I was extremely happy with the service I received at the time. Yesterday, in the middle of this heat wave, the AC quit blowing cold. It is supposed to be a high of 108 today so I am in a bit of a panic. Ben was here first thing this morning! Found that there was a manufacture's defect in the system that caused my system to loose freon. He got me all fixed up in no time! I am extremely happy with their service and will refer any and all of my friends and family to them. Thank you for saving us from this heat.

My AC stopped working in my apartment, so Ted Dumont HVAC sent Ben to come and check it out. Ben was amazing. Very informative and took the time to describe what he was doing in detail. If anything goes wrong with my AC again, I hope they send Ben again!

My AC’s compressor melted in the middle of this insane heatwave. Ben from Ted Dumont came out on short notice, equipped to the teeth, and did a fantastic job of trying to fix what he could, but in the end there was no salvaging it. He made some calls, found out no one had my model’s compressor in stock so we’d have to order a brand new unit. And I thought to myself “I’m not going to have any cooling for a while”. And I was wrong. He gave me the bad news on Friday. Tuesday I get back from work and that man is there, new unit is already installed, fuses switched out, tests done, he’s just waiting on me to get home so I can flip the breaker and turn it on to test it. And I tell you true, as I sit in my bedroom upstairs that’s been at about 95f for the past few days and is now breezing its way steadily down to the low 70s: give this man a raise. Give this man all the raises. Resourceful, knowledgeable, solid work ethic, good sense of humor and very personable. 10/10 would want to be helped by Ben again.

Ben is the best. Saved me a bunch of money by simply explaining what I can do to fix my A/C unit. I truly appreciate the time he spent, and the easy directions he gave me to diy. It’s nice to know that there are still people/businesses that want to help rather than take advantage. I highly recommend Ted Dumont HVAC! I refer all my friends to them!. I have used them several times, most recently 7-11-24. I have always been very happy! Technician Ben came to my house and did a great job!! He is very thorough, and he explained everything to me. He showed me how I can do some little maintenance things. They are very honest. They have never tried to sell me anything that I didn't need. I am very glad that I found these guys!

WHAT HAPPENED? Used to be 5 star but I have called and left a message for over a year. No one answers and no one returns messages. Must be out of business or we soon at this level of customer service. The excuse that "were busy" doesn't excuse completely ignoring anyone. Especially someone who has been a loyal customer for nearly 2 decades. Call backs=0, voice messages=0, text=0, & email=0) Not one single effort to even reach out and tell me to look elsewhere until I go public with this review and then I get "we're busy, good luck finding someone to help you in the future". Which I did... **RIGHT NOW - Heating & Cooling** came out the same day, diagnosed the problem, worked with my warranty company, and had a replacement on site the next day. If you're wondering who to go with give them a call.

For some reason, my review keeps being taken down. Although Brandon was kind enough to call my family and amend a pricing concern, our experience with Rachel remains the worst professional experience my family has had with a business. She is rude, condescending, and completely unopen to working with her clients. I want to ensure this review stays live as a warning for future customers when working with Rachel. Response - I am a client and live in the home where the service took place. I personally interacted with Rachel multiple times via the phone as she refused to help or speak to my mother, and tried to take advantage of her. She also never issued my family an apology for her behavior. May the hostility in their response below be a taste of what it is like to work with this company. However, we are grateful for the professionalism of Brandon who called in her place. That being said, our disturbing experience with Rachel will always remain.

My AC lines were frozen and no air was coming out of the vents upstairs. I called Rachel at the office and she had a tech to my house within an hour. Michael came, cleaned everything thoroughly, and charged the unit. He explained everything he was doing and was very knowledgeable, he wanted to fix the issue versus replace everything, which I really appreciated! My house has never been cooler! I had another company come to my house in the past (RNH&A) and they didn’t even try to troubleshoot the problem- just recommended replacement. Definitely recommend and will be a returning customer!
