• Go to Better Business Bureau (BBB) "NOT BBB Accredited". Yes there are many good reviews but once you have a problem you will get "blown off". After a major installation, we experienced a loss as a result of these people. The owner promised to reimburse us for our loss. Now he refuses to pay what he agreed to in writing. Now he will not respond to us. We did not even get a nickel of reimbursement. These are the kindest words I can use to describe his company: DISHONEST AND DECEITFUL. I would not wish this poor experience on anyone.

• Tommy Cool Air absolutely save the day, or should I say night. I came home one evening after having been away only to find water dripping through the ceiling tiles from the AC unit in the attic! The AC drip pan had clogged and overflowed. It had been 104° that day and had cooled off only to 95 by the time I got home. I immediately Googled “emergency air conditioning services”. Thank goodness Tommy Air popped up! Not only could they come that evening, the tech arrived ahead of schedule. Our tech, Ricky, was kind and attentive. He provided video and photos of the work done. He explained things well and assured me that I could safely turn my unit back on. Thanks to Tommy Cool Air and Ricky, we slept well that night. I still have a ceiling and carpet to deal with, but at least we were safe from the Texas summer heat!

• I was having issues with my unit. Tommy's staff came out and assessed what was wrong with it. They told me my unit was overcharged and that they had to remove coolant from the unit and that would solve my problem. They charged me $300 to do this. Well it didn't work. Temps got up to 85 in my house. I called in about guarantee and they tell me that the guarantee is that they'll find what's wrong. So they send out another guy that checked everything out and tells me that the TXV is not working and needs to be replaced. I was very skeptical. They sent me a quote of $1100 to fix. My AC guy was out of town that's why I risked using another company. I waited for my guy to get back which was 1 day later. He checked the unit said it needed coolant that my levels were off. Soooo he added the coolant and 30 minutes later everything fixed. This was not a great experience with this company at all. In addition I paid $300 for coolant they removed to have it put back in. NOT COOL AT ALL.

• My ac went out on a Friday evening about 6:30. I called Tommy Cool Air and they had a technician there about 9 o'clock that night. The techs name was Matt and he went through the whole system found the problem. He left that evening with the information he needed to get the replacement parts required to fix my ac. The next morning i recieved a call that the parts were available locally. After discussing the cost and approving the quote Matt came back out before noon to do the repair. Once the part was replaced and the system was running Matt took the time to go through everything with me, making sure the entire ac system was operating efficiently. Was very impressed with the quick response and attention to detail. Great over all experience! I even signed up for Tommy Cool to keep up with the yearly checks and maintenance of my ac system. Thank you to Matt and the entire Tommy Cool team! Awesome job!!

• I texted early Sunday morning that my AC was not working. They me back within a hour and after a few questions set me up in their system and dispatched a technician to my home. The technician was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem right away. He then fixed the problem and then looked over my entire AC system! They are the only ones in Corpus Christi, Texas out of the 7 companies we called stating it’s going to be 114 degrees and the air conditioner needs to be fixed for our elderly Mother asap. • I want to put 0 stars but I cant. I setup an appointment to have my ac checked out. I was just called and they need ME to send them pictures first. They don't even send out technicians I guess. The is my first time calling and last time. Poor customer service.

• I am re-doing my review to 1 star for two reasons 1) the response from Tommy Cool to the first one, a very snarky lecture on whyI should have been happy to pay over $500 for a "tech" to literally plug in a $10 part and 2) prior to the capacitor going out, my ac was so efficient as to be TOO COOL, sometimes necessitating adjusting the setting, even during days it was nearly 100° outside. Since Tommy Cool was out here, Im runnng fans all over the house to get it cool during the day! Because Tommy Cool drained my bank account for the last visit, I cannot afford to have someone come out and ACTUALLY properly fix it so it cools my house again.
