• Please tell me if I should be charged for maintenance when installing a new air conditioner... if the machine malfunctions and I call you for maintenance, should I be charged the user fee? Remember, you installed a new air conditioner for me, not that it's unusable in hot weather. You shouldn't say it's 38 degrees Celsius.

• I was in the market for a HRV, as our house didn’t have one, and I wanted a less corporate, less aggressive sales and more family business vibe. I learned about Weather Tech online, and their reviews were solid, so I requested a visit for a quote. Steve, the owner of the company, arrived on time and was great. He identified all the issues we had, didn’t upsell anything, and was exactly what I wanted. We discussed the problems, my concerns and he had a ton of knowledge on this topic. He emailed me a quote shortly after with two options. I picked the smart HRV. Installation day was fantastic, Josh and Sam were extremely professional and very friendly. They were great with our daughter too when she handed them ice lollies! The outcome is that we now have a beautiful HRV installation, delivering the fresh air we need. The warranty on the install is 10 years on parts and 5 years labour, which is fantastic value for the price I paid. We really value working with good people, from companies that have values, and we will be using Weather Tech for everything HVAC related moving forward.

• ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Luke was outstanding. He came out on Sunday, December 28 in the evening when no one else was available and worked for roughly four hours to get our furnace running properly again. He was professional, respectful, and easy to communicate with throughout the entire visit. He found the cause of the problem—rocks/debris obstructing the exhaust vent—helped us confirm it, cleared it, and restored the heat. The system has been working perfectly since. The service cost was $400,FYI I had no booked reservation so basically the cost was double due to him coming without me booking or anything and it was absolutely worth it for the quality of work and the peace of mind. For my family because we have the CO2 built up in the house because I kept just restarting it for now so merry Christmas thank you you guys very much I’m Native American, and I highly recommend Luke and Weather Tech Heating & Cooling. • Purchased hot water tank through Costco promotion, I guess this is the company they use for installation. Hot water tank was converted from natural gas to electric. Job was completed installers left and shortly after had to return as they didn’t turn the gas back on for the house. Installer returned, turned gas back on didn’t even come inside and just told us from outside it was turned back on. We could smell gas within seconds. I quickly rushed downstairs and could tell the pipe they removed was not caped off. I rushed back upstairs and told My wife to grab our 15 month old daughter and get out of the house. Luckily weathertech employee was still in his car and didn’t leave the driveway and we told him there’s a gas leak he has to shut off the gas. He had to return to the shop to get tools, and material. We contacted Manitoba hydro and they sent an employee on an emergency call and told us to stay outside as the house smelt of gas really bad after the pipe was caped off. Manitoba hydro employee showed up did air readings and instructed us to stay outside for abit longer. He also asked us many questions and the process, and after hearing what we told him he said this was pure negligence. 3 hours later we were allowed back into our home. Weathertech didn’t even have the decency to call us the next day to apologize or anything only called us to confirm the price on 2 breakers. I am not impressed and would not recommend this company to anyone and I’m lucky nothing happend to my wife and our 15 month old child, or our home.

• We decided to get air conditioning after many years without having it. We received three quotes and by far Steve(owner) was the best as he explained the heat pump process in depth. We figured out an install date which suited our schedule. The install went seamlessly as three guys named Josh, Jessie and Nick showed up in the morning on time and with everything they needed. They all had different jobs to do in this installation and u could tell they were experienced as they moved quickly and with ease. After the installation Josh was kind enough to give my husband a thorough run through of how the heat pump worked and also how to navigate the thermostat. It has been a few weeks now and the heat pump is working perfectly. Great company to deal with.

• I have recently upgraded my furnace and air conditioner. After having five separate companies out to quote on this project, I felt most comfortable with Weather Tech. Steve, the owner came out to provide me sound advice of exactly what I need. His quote was in line with all the other companies. Nick, Josh, Luke, and Sam came right on time to do the installation. They were extremely friendly, professional, and respectful. They installed everything perfectly and left the house, clean and tidy. There was one issue with the thermostat, but after reaching out after hours, they promised to send a tech Monday to correct the problem. So thanks to everyone at Weather Tech for giving me peace of mind for the next 25 years. So just a short update. They discovered that my thermostat was defective from the get-go. One last point I want to mention. This entire HVAC system was purchased through Costco and results in a Costco shop card which is essentially a significant discount of the system.
