• Norbert was the technician that came out to check my old AC unit. At first, he listened to my concerns and inspected the unit. But then it turned into an extremely prolonged lecture session about how much he knows and how long he’s been doing this, then into a pushy sales pitch. He clearly did not listen to what I needed. I just wanted a quote for a new AC unit that wouldn’t break the bank, and to see if he could fix the condensation leak under the unit. He started to show me units that were $20,000, when I said I wanted the cheapest option. Then he proceeded to try and convince me to sign up for a membership with them, when he knew I just called him out for a quote and a diagnosis. I already did my own research and had several AC unit quotes from other HVAC companies that averaged $7000 to $10,000. The units he showed were more than twice my budget range, and twice the average market rate for HVAC units. His visit ended up being almost 2 hours, when it should’ve been 30 min. If he would have closed his rambling mouth, and listened to what the customer is asking for, instead of trying to be a pushy, annoying salesman…maybe he would get somewhere. When he finally stopped talking, he sat down at my table (did not ask if he could) and started drawing up a sale as if he expected me to buy from him right then. I told him I would talk to my wife about it and get back with him, to which he said “Why? What’s wrong?” Not “Yes sir I understand, think about it and I’ll wait to hear back from you” or “Absolutely, take your time to decide if you’d like to use us” The amount of disrespect in his question, in my home, was all I needed to confirm that using anyone from this business is a huge mistake and a waste of time. Especially Norbert. Don’t EVER use this company.

• Taking the time to drop a few stars off. Yes - 5 star for install - need a new unit these guys are on top of it. Need a part replaced then 0 stars. Been waiting and waiting on a part. Have to call to try to get status. Nobody seems to care. 2 weeks been waiting. No communication whatsoever. I bet if I was paying to install same unit everything would be in the following day...just as it was during the installation. Not currently pleased with A#1 air.
