• I booked Absolute home service because there is no heat in the house and Saye one of their worker was able to come and look at my boiler . He said the pilot light is not working . there was a lot of things not working he said and need to be replaced . He said he can repair the boiler but it would cost me $2428.65 not including tax but if I want he can do it for me for $1800 without receipt . I think this person is trying to scam me so I let him leave and pay $261.45 for diagnostic , same day another contractor I called and came to checked , I paid $192 everything is working now he said , easy fixed . I did not told him the first person who came. He was there for less than an hour . I phone Victor and told him what the guy did and said he will let the manager know . Was it far from great review . • In early September, your technician attended my home to perform both AC and furnace maintenance. The normal cost for this type of maintenance is approximately $200. During the visit, the technician did not complete the furnace repair, stating that a part needed to be replaced and that the repair could only be done when the outdoor temperature dropped below 5°C. The technician then provided an email address for payment, which I used immediately. The money was withdrawn from my bank account, but due to an incorrect email address provided by your technician, your company did not receive the payment. The funds did not return to my account for over a month. During that time, your company repeatedly demanded that I pay again, which I refused, as: I could not pay twice for the same service, and The furnace repair had not been completed. Once the original payment finally bounced back to my account, I immediately resent the full amount of $647.85 using the new email address provided by your company.

• I recently scheduled an appointment with Absolute Home Services for a "comprehensive furnace inspection & maintenance package". The technician, Wayne, who arrived well within the time window between 12 - 2pm, was really professional, polite, and organized. The furnace inspection itself was very thorough including checking of internal electronic motherboard, thermostat changes and associated different furnace heat + blower time - responsiveness. The tech checked -- and also changed -- the furnace filter, something that other companies sometimes don't or forget to do. The pricing was very fair and comparable to other HVAC companies in the Lower Mainland. Absolute also made sure to inform me about an available Fortis-BC ($50) rebate/account credit applicable, which was really great + thoughtful. All in all, the experience with Absolute was very smooth from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend their broad range of professional home services delivered with friendliness and courtesy.

They were so quick to reply back to us and were in our house the same week to replace our furnace and hot water tank just in time for the cold snap. They were so incredibly efficient, in & out of our house in just one day. We had our vents cleaned with them too the very next day. Jack was in contact with us to make sure we had the proper documentation and instructions on how to complete the Fortis rebate as well to help save us some money. • My elderly parents listened to their bullsh!t and replaced the furnace. Since then, every year, they would make endless calls to get my parents to do a check-up. Recently, there is home repair at my parent’s place and my mother told them to call at a later time. Yet, they still kept calling to solicit service. Seriously, it’s Saturday morning at 9ish, don’t call people at that time!!! People could still be sleeping. I got fed up at left this comment because they started calling my mobile phone. If you’re their customer, do NOT leave any reachable numbers with them, they will spam call you to oblivion. &$@!en rats!

We have used them before, and before office hours, when I left a frantic message about no heat, I received a call first thing in morning. The wonderful woman who takes calls was amazing, and made sure she sent someone who was able to best deal with the issue in my furnace. I was so grateful that I’d used them before so they knew my specific needs, and when the repairman came the next day, he was absolutely professional, friendly and informative.
