• Late last year, I needed to service the AC and replace a few major parts. I made the HUGE mistake of going with the cheapest option (another vendor that I’ve never used before). I definitely got what I paid for…Our AC basically blew up while we were out of the country about 6 months after the “repairs” were done by a different company. The AC broke, water gushed out of the system, crashing through my ceiling, so water, insulation, and lord knows what else. I’d post pics of this disaster if I could. I was totally embarrassed to call David from Acclaim and tell him what happened since I went with a different company. He was totally cool about it. He worked with me on pricing. At the end of the day, I should’ve used him from the start and it would have been less than having to pay for professional clean up, drywall repair for the ceiling, repainting the complete ceiling so everything would match, and a bigger AC repair job than the original work that was needed. David had to undo what the other company did, redo it properly, and make other, new repairs. He even reorganized the system bc the other guys left a total mess. The pics were unbelievable. Acclaim is very trustworthy and honest. They usually give me multiple options and prices for each, as well as their recommendation, which isn’t always the most expensive. You won’t regret using Acclaim and you might very well regret not (using them like I did).

• On Wed. Jul 29th, I noticed the fan on my HVAC outside was not spinning. I notified my Home Warranty Co the following morning, Jul 30th, and was told the only available appointment is Tue. Aug 4th. With temperatures exceeding 90+°, it became extremely unbearable. After 2 days of sleepless nights, I contacted Acclaim Air Conditioning Service and spoke with Dave, who came to my rescue within a couple hrs, possibly less. I told Dave what the warranty co said and felt I couldn't make it until the 4th. Dave checked the unit and found a dead capacilator and replaced it. Not only that but also washed debris from the unit as well. Dave has been my guardian angel this weekend. It's very rare today that people provide that kind of customer service to strangers.
