• It must me said at the beginning that David is a talker. Some people just get the necessary information and get out. David likes to communicate about all of the possible scenarios and process them together. After he saw the issue in person, he was able to repair my cut thermostat wires. He was able to get my system up and running, and left me with a wiring diagram for future repairs. Very helpful. And he did it for a reasonable price. Would return for the next repair.

• We loved working with David on replacing two new AC units! We knew we needed replacements because ours were very old and inefficient. He quoted us about $5,000 less for the two units compared to other bids. He was also very accommodating with some unique issues we had to deal with - one being moving the AC to bring it up to code, and another being working around other contractors who were replacing sheetrock due to a water leak near the AC unit. It would have been easy for him to say that was out of his scope, but he wanted to make sure it worked out for us, even if it took longer or required more work. He also came back to help us optimize our vents and checked in a few times to ensure we were happy. It was a great experience that eased our stress about such an expensive decision.

• If I could give David 10 stars, I would. After three different AC contractors came to my home and tried to rip me off — quoting me $12,000, $16,000, and even $17,000 — and telling me my air conditioning system was done and leaking or needed replacement, David came like an angel. Not only was he professional, kind, and honest, but he immediately identified that there was absolutely nothing wrong with my AC unit. The only issue was the thermostat, which just needed adjustment. He thoroughly checked everything — refrigerant levels, pressure, leaks — and confirmed that my system was perfectly fine. • We needed a new HVAC system and wanted to arrange for it before the possibility of prices increasing next year. We were looking at spending approximately $15,600 for a 16 seer 2-speed system with another company. We would have liked the 18 seer variable speed, but that company would have charged us almost $20,000 for it. But after speaking with David of Affordable Heating & Air, we were able to upgrade our choice to an 18 seer variable speed, which should maximize our ability to save on our electric bill -- and we paid LESS for the 18 seer variable than we would have paid for the 16 seer two speed with the other company! We paid almost $8000 less than we would have, had we purchased the 18 seer from the other company. David and his crew were absolutely great to work with, from the very first meeting, to the completion of the work. Everything was done thoughtfully, thoroughly, and precisely. The entire crew was friendly, professional and informative. A total pleasure! In conclusion, I just want to add that we are on a fixed income and the savings matters a great deal to us. What also matters, is that we had checked into solar, but it wasn't going to be a good fit for our circumstances; however now, with the 28 seer variable speed, we can actually look forward to lowering our electric bill, even though we couldn't get solar, and we're excited about that!

• HONEST company. No Scams. No price gouging. EXTREMELY AFFORDABLE! Friendly. Down-to-Earth. Very Fast Service. 10 Stars! Single mom of 4 and AC was out for the last month and half in over 100° summer. We were SOOO depressed and miserable trying to cool with fans. Indoor temp was at 96°. Was quoted $2300 by another company to maintenance/clean each of my 2 AC units including filters being $600 each set, which totalled over $4000. We were trying to save up but never could. Finally fed up, hot, and tired, I called Affordable Heating and Air Conditioning and David not only answered after hours but talked with me troubleshooting if my AC was even able to function. Turned out the front A/C DID WORK, just needed Filters Changed. When I told him the last price quote he was incredulous and upset on my behalf. I had been scammed and scared by a so called Reputable Company into not turning it on so they could come charge me more. David came the very next morning, squeezing us into his packed schedule, to change out all the filters, replace a critical part on my back AC, and clean out the units. ALL FOR UNDER $300!!!! MY ACs are running smoothly and the house cooled off fast. My family and I and the pets are all finally comfortable. The RELIEF IS REAL! There is no better company in price or honesty.
