• Utilized Mo and Aire Tech to upgrade our HVAC system in our home. He installed a significantly smaller air handler than what was on the contract, 2 of the 5 zones in our house not working, took our money, stopped responding to emails. My parents are in their 80s and the house was below 60 degrees in the winter, his last response was "I don't care, figure it out." We have pictures of all correspondence (or lack thereof). Currently, system not working at all and Mo refuses to respond or handle it despite recent emails sent again. He uses a trick to have you finance so he's guaranteed the entire amount and is backed by a financing program, so you're trapped even though he doesn't deliver on goods and services. We have reported him to the BBB and have obtained a lawyer and now have to file a lawsuit since it was over $20,000 worth of work. Do not use him or this company. Happy to provide pictures of the contract, his texts, etc, if needed.

• If I could give zero stars, I would. We hired Aire Tech because they were a Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Contractor and invested over $30,000 expecting expert workmanship and professionalism. Instead, this became one of the worst contractor experiences our family has ever had. Within 48 hours, one unit froze and another locked out. The installation was never properly completed, and months later we were still dealing with unresolved issues, repeated service calls, and unfinished work. Rather than taking responsibility, Moe repeatedly blamed other factors, including our attic insulation, instead of addressing the installation. We even contacted our roofing contractor to verify those claims. The breaking point came when Mitsubishi Electric became involved. Mitsubishi scheduled an inspection but would not perform it without the installing contractor present. Moe failed to show up, forcing the inspection to be canceled and delaying our case by another month until Mitsubishi arranged for a different Diamond Contractor. When I called to ask why he didn't attend, I was met with yelling instead of answers. The independent Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor later concluded that the equipment itself was operating as designed and identified numerous contractor-related deficiencies, including oversized equipment, undersized ductwork, inadequate duct insulation, improper condensate piping, refrigerant lines routed over the electrical panel, and other installation issues requiring significant remediation. The problems extended beyond the HVAC system. Our Rheem ProTerra water heater was initially left powered by an extension cord running across the floor until I insisted it be hardwired. The drain line also had to be rerouted, damper controls are still missing, and construction debris and garbage were left behind on our property. To make matters worse, Aire Tech also failed to provide valid proof of insurance despite repeated requests. We have spent months documenting issues, coordinating inspections, and fighting for accountability while trying to keep our home comfortable for our two young children. No homeowner should have to manage their contractor's work after spending this kind of money. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Aire Tech. Mitsubishi's Diamond Contractor designation gave us confidence, but our experience fell far short of the standard that designation is supposed to represent. UPDATE: After nearly four months of ongoing issues, inspections, repeated follow-ups, and having to move our family to another level of our home because the upstairs was unusable during the summer heat, a resolution has finally been reached. Aire Tech has issued us a refund, and I appreciate Mitsubishi Electric’s involvement in ultimately helping bring this matter to a resolution so that we can finally move forward. Unfortunately, the refund does not give us back the summer we lost or correct the installation. By the time the work can be scheduled and completed, it will likely be the end of September—meaning our family will have spent essentially the entire summer dealing with the consequences of this installation. While the financial portion is now resolved, we still have substantial remediation ahead of us and are essentially starting the project over with a new contractor. I sincerely hope Aire Tech uses this experience to improve its installation practices, communication, and accountability going forward.

• My old central AC never worked properly after it was botched by a careless contractor a few years ago. I eventually had to have the entire system dismantled and replaced with new mini-splits. After meeting with a number of AC companies, I chose Aire Tech. Not only was their pricing competitive, but the installation blueprint designed by the owner, Moe—specifically the placement of the indoor units and the routing for the copper lines and drain pipes—was by far the most practical. Moe is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely willing to listen to meet his customers' needs. This was a refreshing contrast to other contractors who seemed to prioritize their own convenience over what I actually wanted. Choosing Aire Tech proved to be the right decision. The installation team, Junior and Eduardo, was highly professional. Because my house is very old and wasn't originally built for AC, they had to work around a number of structural obstacles. They went above and beyond to run the external lines in the most aesthetically pleasing way possible. They even worked through the weekend on Sunday to ensure my family would have cooling during a stretch of hot, humid summer days. I am incredibly grateful for Aire Tech’s hard work, and I will definitely be using them next year to install another mini-split system for the remaining rooms. Highly recommended!

• My ductless A/C broke down in 2025. I had an incompetent tech come out 3 times and claim he fixed it (he didn't) I was so frustrated I gave up and sweat through the summer. In May of 2026 I contacted Aire Tech. Mo came out and diagnosed the issue, and i could tell he was highly competent. The only problem- i had to wait a few weeks for the fix. But do a little research and you will find that all good HVAC techs in NYC are very busy. It was worth the wait....Mo's crew fixed the issue quickly and came in under estimate. I sincerely recommend Aire-Tech. Just be patient because they are very busy.
