• I have used American Cooling and Heating in the past and have been very satisfied with their services. They are honest and reliable. Scot presented several different options to me for repairing or replacing my A/C unit. He is knowledgeable and I valued his opinion. I had my A/C unit replaced on one of the hottest days of the summer (roof mounted A/C unit). They responded in a very timely manner and completed the A/C installation. I will definitely use them in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ UPDATE: 9/25/2026 - The FUTURE IS HERE..... I had another A/C unit compressor fail at another location. Well at least I KNEW who to call. Scot and his team were able to quickly fit me in their tight schedule in just a few days. They installed a new A/C - gas split unit on a Sunday morning. They provided portable A/C units to help keep the house cooled down until the new A/C unit was installed. The installation technician (David) did an excellent job. I would definitely give them another 5 Stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

• We had them out for a handful of visits over this last month and were told every time that something new was wrong with our few years old AC from: the thermostat needs to be replaced, A few items within the unit were “on their way out” and even that the sound was something that wasn’t that bad. Then the owner sent a different tech who made comments like the unit they installed wasn’t the right size for our house which is alarming when that was a $10k purchase. Unfortunately, after the last month of labor costs & costs to stay elsewhere while our house was 86+ degrees, we had to hire another company to resolve the issue of this company installing the wrong size fan motor in our unit causing the unit to overheat each day. They do have same day responses and did install our HVAC system for us a few years ago with minimal issues at the time. That and the refund of some of the labor costs is what provides the 2 stars.

• Working with American Cooling and Heating (Scot Morgan) has been a pleasure. Scot's direct, up-front way of doing business is refreshing. He is responsive, and follows through with his commitments. I began looking into replacing one of my AC systems in the fall of 2025. Scot has been patient, thorough and candid in addressing all of my questions and concerns. When my AC unit failed in March 2026, Scot was immediately responsive in scheduling his crew for the install. Not only was the price reasonable and competitive, the install experience was a pleasure. His crew clearly knew what they were doing and also readily answered my additional questions. When following up with Scot later for some additional paperwork and the purchase of a 10-year labor warranty, it was clear that Scot's commitment does not end with the sale & install of the AC system. • I had an appointment window of 8- noon and at 2:30 while sitting in a house that id 92 degrees i called for a second time to see when or if a tech was coming. I was told he was running late a day would be another hour to hour and half. I physically couldnt remain in the house to wait so we rescheduled for 10-2 pm the next day. At 6:54 am that next day I get a general text about a technician being enrolled and a link to track his route. That link didn't show any tech location and even on there the window showed 8-noon so I text that number back to confirm since we are staying at friends due to the house being too hot to stay in. I got no response so I called the number and got a message it was after hours and to leave a message so I waited. I get a call from Kyle the tech at 7:50 saying he was at the house. I told him the situation and I was 20 minutes away due to disorganized time planning. He said he couldnt wait and I was notified he was coming. I tried to explain what I was told by the scheduler and my attempts to confirm but they still canceled the service and said they would need to find another service company. Very disorganized and poor communication. Not sure how they are a 5 star company as I wouldn't use them no matter how desperate I am to get AC fixed!!

The process was fast and easy to replace one of our HVAC units and the install crew led by Oved was professional and efficient getting the old unit out and installing the new one. • I’m glad I called American Cooling & Heating. They were fast, courteous, and communicated throughout the process. I have dealt with multiple AC problems throughout my lifetime and they were by far the easiest to work with. They earned their five stars. I received three quotes before I decided to go with American Cooling & Heating. Only one of those quotes was from a company with the fancy advertisements on the side of their trucks. They were $10,000 higher!! Replacing an AC is really a difficult job if the air handler is in the attic. A very hot job!! Do yourself a favor and remove any obstacles to the attic access. Also anything you have stored in the attic. The faster they can get it installed the faster you’ll be cool. Remember, this is 2025 and the AC units are more expensive beginning this year because they have to meet new federal regulations.

• Will never use this place again. Did not do the yearly service and did not finish work they were contracted to do by home warranty company. Pulled my thermostat off wall and I mean pulled it off not taking any care. Replaced it with a POS thermostat and it is now just hanging with the wires exposed. Will not return calls, text, or email. This place should never get any business. ***Took 2 years for this company to reply and when they get a bad review they claim they never did any work for that person. Sorry to say, yes you did and your company is a complete joke. Anyone who uses American Cooling and Heating be warned.

• We were supposed to get out new unit installed on a Thursday, they didn't have the right part, of course they blamed the manufacturer. Then we waited another week. Finally got it installed and a few days later it doesn't work. It was a Saturday and not only did the number hang up on me but then no one answered. 24/7 is not something they do. They use the "based on availability is what the website says" BS! It's a joke. I will not be recommending them to anyone I like. Especially in AZ 24/7 should be taken very seriously and advertised accordingly. Horrible experience.

• AMAZING SERVICE I would give 10 stars for this amazing service with Scott and his team. I had 3 quotes, and I selected this company. The other 2 were Carrier and Bryant a knock off to Carrier. Scott’s team delivered a 3 ton Trane the “BEST “ in heating & cooling! Kyle was here for the installation and was dynamite! He explained everything in steps to ensure I knew what they were doing and what I was paying. When you’re thinking of purchasing a new unit beware of the hidden cost as they are installing your unit. Scott gave me the price and after installation that is exactly what I paid. There were no “hidden” fees added on the day of installation. • Called this company because I was having a loud noise coming from the ac unit. They ended up not fixing the issue and assumed I was having cooling issues, which I had mentioned was not an issue. They replaced a motor, which they claim was the issue, but there was no cooling issue to begin with. They left even after I told them the loud noise was still present after the "repair". It was a Saturday, so I can see why they would leave so soon. I do appreciate them responding so fast, but I will not be calling them in the future.
