• When I received a postcard in the mail from Around the Sun I was sad . If you knew Sal the seller he was a hard working owner , honest , and reliable. When Jeff from ATS came to service my aircon he not only did his job he also explained how he felt about the new owners. They are a dedicated family owned company. That's what I like. The business will be growing as they will soon offer insulation service. I needed that since being from Michigan I didn't know who to call. If you need a free estimate just call them. • UPDATE: This review is upgraded to a FRAUD ALERT. This company stated they replaced equipment that they did not touch. Posting pictures and the invoice for the charges that are ridiculous. Thank goodness I called another company that took pictures of the unit on the roof I would have never seen if they hadn't come. I gave the owner a opportunity to address the situation but haven't heard anything. $2,000 of fraud is too much to let slide. Be very careful with the lapse in communication between the dispatch/office gals and the technician. We call for repairs and maintenance. Maintenance is good when it comes to the basics. Our evap cooler was supposed to be maintained. But somehow got missed. So when we called to have it repaired I got a quote to fix it and then to replace it. They give outlandish quotes for replacement - $12,XXX and nearly @$2K to repair it. I specifically told the office personal that I don't want to fix it unless the water leaking all over the racks below (DESTROYING OUR INVENTORY) the evap cooler I would spend the $2,000 on a stand alone cooler. When we turned on the "repaired" cooler it started leaking all over our inventory. Which is exactly why I said I didn't want to repair a system that didn't work properly. NOW WE HAVE NO WORKING EVAP. When the tech called he said he wasn't made aware of the leaking (even though you can visibly see the calcium deposits forming stalagtites from the unit). So now he said that that is fixing more of the unit. I got a quote to "FIX THE UNIT". Which DID NOT HAPPEN. Now instead of quoting me the real fix, they are trying to strong arm me into paying $2,000 for an INCOMPLETE job without communicating the added repairs. I had asked for the tech to call during the visit to discuss the repair because I am traveling. I would like to know what the repair for the leakage is. Until I know what the actual repairs are we will be at a stand still. UPDATE: The technician NOW SAYS we need to spend $12XXX on a new unit. STEER CLEAR. What a complete waste of my time and money. OUR NEIGHBORS NON THE LESS.
