• Oct /2024 this started . From the start we called them, they weren’t available for over two weeks.. he got to my home I’m disabled I asked that he call me when he gets there as I can’t hear the door and when I’m alone I can’t come downstairs stairs by myself , he sat outside for over 15 mins before calling me .. so when he calls I’m not dressed so I needed time to get ready before letting a man in my home.. he complains to my landlord i made him wait .. I tell him he can walk in now , again I’m not able to answer to let him in as the stairs . he’s there maybe 30 mins looks over my Not digital Ac, not wifi AC unit that had stopped working, hoses it down with water as I live in a construction site and the dust is crazy and says I need a new one , this one is done and leaves . He writes a report that says because I need the home kept at a low temperature for my health condition that I’m abusing my unit and that it broke because it’s not meant to be used as a medical device or in low temperatures.. because the one day he comes in it’s cold outside .. then gave my landlord the whole report and sent a bill for $5200.00 stating it’s my fault because I’m using it like a medical device and that I stated I used it in the winter.. which in fact I never stated any of this, he never even asked wat temperature I keep it at , nor could he tell by looking at my thermostat .. I simply stated I’m sick and need the home at a certain temperature as I get very sick if I get hot and can’t function.. so I want it fixed before the heat comes . he leaves and my landlord states we’re waiting on his report for over 6 months .. I called another company who came in within 2 days and they found it’s still under warranty within an hour of arrival and it’s just the compressor needs replacing . The new company was able to order and will be installing it next week .. also had the guy look and says there no way to tell what I kept my temperature at that so that wouldn’t make since , and that most likely all the construction dust was probably the issue . The tech from benson told my landlord, which told me that apparently I stated I used my AC in the winter, which is a lie, so either these guys are friends with AG property and will write whatever they ask to try and money grab the tenants and just wrote whatever they wanted to try and hoax me into buying a new unit or they are just plain liars .. either way worst company to work with they don’t listen and don’t actually do there job are just out for money , wasn’t personable or accommodating. Found Kay-Gen of Innisfil small family run business and I’m very happy now!

• I contacted Kevin Benson as I was interested in a ductless A/C unit for my cottage. However after inspecting my house Kevin talked me out of the more expensive ductless unit and I purchased a regular A/C unit that is integrated into my furnace... it works great. Kevin's team arrived promptly exactly when they said they would they installed the A/C unit neatly and were very professional. Subsequently I installed an Ecobee thermostat but could not get the A/C unit to run. Matt one of Kevin's technicians came the next day and cheerfully fixed the problem which was of my making all with out charge. This is amazing customer service.
