  • Annual maintenance / check up on A/C units (have always used them for annual furnace and A/C check ups …. Definitely worth it). James was on time, clearly explained the steps he would be taking and went about the work checking and cleaning the units. Great job, we are ready for summer !!

Additionally, Mohsin helped me step by step through the approval for the permit required by the City of Calgary. He was detailed, responsive, and patient. Overall, my experience was wonderful and would use them again.

He checked to make sure it was all working as expected after he finished. Very friendly and polite. Highly recommend.

  • We liked it that the guy who picks up the phone is the same guy that shows up. No other people (office, receptionist) involved, at least for us it was like that. You communicate everything with him, and he knows/tells you what to do right away. He actually likes to find things out and will look into everything thoroughly, and will give tips on how to reduce unnecessary repairs, costs, etc. Brilliant! 👍

  • Our furnace blower stopped suddenly during a deep cold snap. Calling around I was getting appointments for two days away. Called CHS and talked to Moshin. Very knowledgeable and gave me a potential estimate over the phone. Hussain was at our door in two hours and resolved our issue (blown control board) within an hour. Very polite, experienced and professional. We would not hesitate to use CHS again.

  • My furnace broke down Friday evening so I called CHS and they came out Saturday morning. Great response time. Hussain came out and quickly diagnosed the issue. It turned out to be an improper draining issue in one of the condensate lines. He rigged another condensate line for proper draining and voila, problem solved. Another company “attempted” at repair several times last year for the exact same issue and they replaced a bunch of parts and charged $$$ that had nothing to do with the issue. They didn’t even think to inspect the drain line. Hussain was not only efficient and extremely knowledgeable, he was very humble and pleasant throughout the visit. He simply went above and beyond my expectation. I finally found a HVAC company that I would keep in my “special binder”. Thanks Hussain!

  • Wouldn't recommend Calgary Heating Services. Was having issues with my hot water tank, it wouldn't re-light. CHS came out, looked at the serial number, proceeded to tell me the hot water tank was 9 years old (it is only 1 year old), out of warranty and needed a new gas valve, after only trying to start the pilot. They wanted to charge $900. Told the technician to look on the tank where it clearly said it was manufactured in June 2023. Didn't change anything, he left within 5-10 minutes. $70 call out for absolutely nothing. I called the manufacturer of the tank afterwards, tank is indeed still under warranty and offered to send out any parts required free of charge. Don't waste your time with this company.

I recently requested their services to install a mini split AC at my condo and Hussain & Jovany did a terrific job with the install and clean up afterwards.
