Can’t say enough about how professional and knowledgeable he was. He also installed an outside water faucet, free of charge, that I was trying to replace but wasn’t having much luck. • Hunter came to the house when we requested an urgent appointment. He looked the system over and found that the A/C motor had gone bad. He explained that we could get it fixed but since we were trying to sell the house it would make more sense to replace the entire unit. Because the unit is almost 20 years old without replacing it we would probably end up losing money during closing. I really appreciate Hunter's honesty and the quick work that was done to get our house cool again.

• This was a great experience! I needed a new HVAC system, and my home warranty provider was offering low tier options and the contractor was giving half-ass service. Call Dad was referred by Duke Energy. The rep came out to the home, first impressions was clean vehicle with matching uniform. A thorough evaluation of my HVAC system and listening to what I explained I wanted, Cody (Rep) was able to present me several options. Once I made a decision of system and payment options I was scheduled for install in 2 days! The constant contact (text) we just enough, never overwhelming. I knew arrival time and even photos of the techs that were coming onto my home. There super polite, answered questions and work boot covers in the home. I work from home, and they were not loud; theyeven gave me a heads up before drilling or banging. When complete, thorough clean up! If this was my install experience, I expect the future service will be top notch as well.

• We received a visit from Tracy of Call Dad for an estimate for 2 HVAC systems. Tracy was very personable, understanding about our situation, and went above and beyond in this estimate visit, looking at our concerns personally and taking the time to explain concepts with analogies, photos and examples. He was highly knowledgeable about HVACs and the laws surrounding replacement units. We felt very comfortable with him in our home and felt confident that this company was truly a company where you are treated respectfully with your time and money. We received a detailed estimate via email before he left our home and felt absolutely no pressure. He was proud of his company and their standards and worked to get our price to something with felt comfortable. We wanted no frills and he didn’t try to up-sale. After he left our home, he was responsive to our questions via text throughout the day, even though he was working on a job site. Before he left, Tracy warned us that one of our outdoor units was making a funny noise and smelled like something was burning. He said to keep an eye out for it as the 23 year old unit could be gasping its last breath. We smelled something burning outside that evening and shut that system down. The burning smell was gone as soon as we shut it down. Our regular AC company had been out just 16 hrs prior out to fix an issue on the other unit. Nothing was mentioned at that time by them. It could have happened after they left, but I think we were possibly saved from something catastrophic by Tracy of Call Dad, who was thorough in his analysis and didn’t charge us a penny. The other 2 companies that provided us an estimate were not interested in how long we planned to be in this house, amount we were willing to spend, our air quality or to verify the appropriate size of the unit. Our estimate explained Call Dad’s “Industry Leading” guarantees which puts customers first. We have had many companies service our units over the years and they were often dishonest and careless. This guarantee gives us hope. Call Dad has a very quick turnaround for system replacement even in the middle of summer! Call Dad also provided 0 percent financing for a year. For pricing, their quote was in the middle of our pricing options. The highest quote was from a different, local air and heat company recommended by Duke. Their quote was twice as much. The less expensive quote was from our company we used for years. However, the quality of their service seems to be waning. When you need the on a holiday or during high usage needs, you know you are in for a wait-up to a week. We ended up canceling 2 more upcoming HVAC quotes from local companies, as we decided that the integrity of this company was worth the price. I know we could have found a less expensive quote, but we felt that Call Dad truly lives up to its name. We receive more than just new units. After finding a loan and signing our estimate on the same Friday as his visit, Tracy was able to get us on the schedule for Monday. He maintained contact throughout the weekend. He even adjusted our estimate after he was able to save us money on the unit. My husband and I felt we have been valued as both potential and actual customers. Don’t hesitate to ask Call Dad for an estimate or help.

• DO NOT USE!!! The service tech was late for his appointment and was trying hard to push me to replace my whole unit instead of fixing what I have. They then qouted me $1200 to replace a $60 dollar part. When the left, I discovered that they had removed some wires from a part of my outdoor unit and failed to put it back together again. They are scam artists, USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
