  • It's 3 stars for now and will change once the exterior AC unit whining problems has been resolved, or not. We had a complete furnace and AC upgrade done. It took 2 technicians 1 day to complete the swap. The system was installed fairly nicely with some custom fabrications done on the spot, to mate the new with the old. The price for the project was also resonable. Only one issue remains. The exterior AC unit is emmiting a continuous 6kHz and 18kHz whine at around -20 dbFS (conversation level) from the rear lower left corner or the unit when the compressor is running. This seems more like a York manufacture/warranty issue than an installer issue but never the less, this whine is bugging both us and our neighbor so it has to be removed. Our initial "AC only low air flow problem" was resolved with a new wifi thermostat. Unfortunately, this thermostat also brough in a whole gambit of unnecessary security problems, in the form of an unknown interested 3rd party and hardcoded default passwords. To be continue...

  • I highly recommend Canadian care heating and cooling for their excellent service. Sam was knowledgeable and friendly . He quickly found the source of the gas leaking under my cooking stove, clearly explained the repair process and fixed it safely. He arrived on time and left my home clean. The quote was transparent .

  • UNRELIABLE, I DO NOT RECOMMEND! I found them on google and called to ask if they service Squamish. They said they do and we arranged for a service call for 11 days later. The morning of the service call they called to reconfirm the appointment, then 12 minutes later they called to say the appointment is canceled because they won't go to Squamish today and that there won't be any Squamish visits indefinitely. While they are nice on the phone, the company itself or whoever is handling scheduling is unprofessional. If you don't often service Squamish, you should be upfront about it. You shouldn't waste our time waiting for the appointment date and then canceling with no good reason 12 minutes after confirming the appointment. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM.

  • I highly recommend this company! We recently had a new heat pump and furnace installed by Sam and his crew of Canadian Heating & Cooling. They were professional, knowledgeable and highly skilled. Sam made the entire process completely stress-free, from the first call to installation to a follow-up call. They were meticulous in the clean up of removing the old furnace and heat pump. After sales support to include sending a skilled technician is very important to me. This was evident during my follow-up call to tweak the heat pump and address questions regarding our new thermostat. It is clear that Sam and his crew value their customers.

Same huge THANK YOU to the company representative John, who was extremely patient with my indecision to book a service through a “cold call”, but it went as smoothly as he said, & I’m very satisfied so far….glad there’s a 1 year warranty on a part needed for my hot water tank, & everything went smoothly. Pricing was as promised, & I still have to apply for my $50 rebate from Fortis, which is a great incentive. So far so good! 👏👏👏

  • On Jan-09-2026, I had a new Combi Boiler installed in my home. Sam and two technicians / plumbers arrived at my house at 9 am and started work immediately. The three of them worked diligently without a break and completed the work at 3:30 pm. I am very pleased with the work they have done.
