• We had both of our AC units replaced within 7 months. Spent over $10,000. We had no issues, at the time, with our downstairs unit so we hired them for our second unit. Different pair of techs replaced the upstairs unit. They didn’t put the drip pan back in properly and caused it to leak thru our lights and stain our ceiling. They came back to fix it and did reimburse us $50 for paint and supplies. Our downstairs unit starts freezing up. Their diagnosis is the TXV bottom valve wasn’t tightened enough causing it to leak. This was covered under their 2y labor warranty. Fast forward 2.5y from installation and we’re paying for repair on a part that is extremely uncommon to break. Freezing up again, extremely frustrated a unit had to be repaired twice now in 2y. This time they found the housing of the TXV itself cracked causing it to leak… Does leave us to wonder if they overtightened the valve the year before causing stress on the body. The part was still under warranty but we were 7 months outside of the labor warranty. They gave us a “discount” and made us only pay half of the labor cost which was $800. After further research, which I wish I did before getting it fixed but we were hot, they charge an EXORBITANT labor fee. Almost $500/hr for this part. He was here just shy of 3h to repair it. Unfortunately, we will go with a local smaller company for any further repairs. 3 strikes and you’re out :/

• Victor was very friendly in our inspection visit when our AC went out. He clearly explained what was going on and the options we had. When scheduled the work, he was the one to complete the repairs. Victor had great communication throughout and worked hard in very hot conditions. He even let us borrow 2 portable AC units to help us get by until the new parts came in, dropped them off and helped set them up. Everything is back to working perfectly now thanks to him and Central Heating & Cooling.

• Dont let those fake reviews fool you. But company does provide quality work. The people actually doing the work are unskilled. They installed HVAC in less than a year im having issues. Its just about taking your money they will not stand behind service. Low quality . if you live in the Charlotte metro go with somebody else no need to use a company out of Indian Trail with lack of talent. A technician from another company came out inspected it and repaired four wires which had frayed and broken. He said that none of the recommended repairs were needed or necessary. His charge for coming out and making the minor repair to the frayed wiring was $200. A 90% saving.

• Had a great experience with a hvac professional named Viktor. He was straight to the point, documented his findings and took time to explain the issue. While he recommended additional things unrelated to the visit like filtering systems he shared these recommendations in an educational manner, without being pushy or trying to upsell. Cost was transparent and on the higher end of the average range for the job but the time and professionalism warrant the rate that was charged. While im sure your outcome may be employee dependent I would highly recommend them again if you are looking for transparent, efficient, and trustworthy work at a high average rate. You likely shouldn't have to worry about fear mongering tactics or headaches which justifies the cost to me. For reference I had a damaged 120v switch that resulted in no power to my furnace. Total cost for the direct problem was roughly 287 dollars.
