Update number 2 I can't say it enough. I am grateful for Collin Air Conditioning. It is uncomfortable when your air conditioning does not work in this Texas heat. Collin saves the day. They are efficient and truly care about their customers. I would highly recommend them. Update: Collin Air Conditioning takes very good care of their customers. They treat you like family and not just another customer. Air Conditioning in Texas heat can be a stressful situation if anything went wrong, Collin AC takes the stress away by fixing it in a prompt and efficient manner. I am grateful for this company. In the middle of summer, in Texas, the last thing you need is for your air conditioner to stop working. This can be stressful, especially when it happens on a Saturday, which is what happened to me. I called Collin Air Conditioning and the technician on call responded within the hour. He came out right away. I described as best as I could what was wrong. The technician stopped by his store and picked up the part (our motor went out). They used proper safety measures and had us up and running quickly. I will be a customer for life. I highly recommend this company. If you're looking for honesty, integrity and good quality, Collin Air Conditioning is for you.

Collins Air just completed some major air conditioning work for us and I am so pleased with their professionalism. Before we had the work done we consulted with Mark, their Home Solutions person. He explained in great detail what the problem was and how we could better the operation of our system. Although it’s never fun to have to replace any AC component, I felt this company was honest and had our best interest at heart. We have used Collin Air in the past for previous problems. I have been a Collin Air customer for years. They consistently provide excellent customer service, perform quality work, and want to ensure you are satisified. This time was no exception. We had finally replaced our homes two HVAC units last summer (and thank God we had the money to do that given the summer we had this year) but one of them started making a very loud noise recently (the compressor outside). We called Collin Air, they came up on the same day, inspected the unit, and informed us that they would replace it. Really!? I thought they would try to repair it under warranty. I did not expect that. A couple days later the crew was here to do the work. They were in and out in a few hours. Good as new again! They didn't charge me a dime. I can't believe it. Thank you Collin Air!!

We’ve worked with Collin Air Conditioning a few times, and the technicians have always been excellent. Knowledgeable, personable, and open about alternative options. My only issue is their pricing, which is quite high for the work performed & even baseline service fee ($169.00). As an example, $560 to replace a capacitor during business hours, which is a $15 part that takes under 15 mins to swap and only requires a screwdriver, is simply too much and boarders on gouging. We also had them quote a mini-split install for us, and their price was double the vendor we ended up going with. But as I said earlier, the technicians have always been great and as far as I can tell on the level. Which is why I’ve still given 3 stars.
