  • Stephen put a lot of thought into our HVAC project from the beginning. He took the time to work through the house room by room, talk through load calculations and duct design, and think about how the system could fit without giving up significant living space. I appreciated that he was willing to explore different approaches and explain the reasoning behind them. We ultimately chose another contractor, but we were very impressed with Stephen and Cool Breeze throughout the process. If you’re planning a more involved HVAC replacement or duct redesign and want someone who will really think through the details, I’d absolutely recommend talking with them.

  • I had a wonderful experience with Cool Breeze at the begining of the summer. My entire system had to be replaced along with some duct work. They gave me several options to find something in my price range, offered to bring me window units until the work was complete, and communicated promptly about all steps. When it came to installation, my Tech worked sun up to sun down to complete everything in two days. The completed project looks great and has been working perfectly all summer. I would definitely recommend Cool Breeze.

  • I had a great experience with this company. My air conditioning was out during a heat wave with my three small children in the home and I called this company and Stephen came out within two hours to help! He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and reasonable with pricing. He corrected a mistake a previous technician from a separate company had did that stopped our ac from blowing entirely. Within less than an hour he had it corrected. He also followed up the next morning to make sure the house cooled all the way down, in which it did! Great company, highly recommend!

  • We have been using cool breeze for well over a decade, after going through a handful of other HVAC people in the area. We had a new build that after about 5 years (outside of warranty) had started acting up badly and they were able to work on it and fix it enough to hobble us along till we were ready to replace it several years later. Originally, we had a single unit controlling both our upstairs and downstairs- it was nowhere near good enough, especially as we both work from home and our offices were not getting anywhere near enough to be comfortable, plus it was extremely loud, we had one kid with terrible allergies, and another with a bedroom full of hot-running pet stuff. He worked with us to design a new system that was quiet, circulated air well, even in our awkward offices and our one bedroom that ran rather hot. It has been SO MUCH BETTER- we have loved it. Even our neighbors asked us about what was installed because it was so quiet and they wanted one too! At one point a part went bad and they were out here and fixed it in almost no time. Their staff is always kind, courteous, and great at giving explanations of what is going on. We could not be happier with their work and service, and have actually recommended them to people several times.

  • My experience is… I should have chosen another HVAC contractor!! Buyer Beware!!

  • Cool Breeze 1250 came and installed two gas lines in our new home. They were able to run both lines in about day or so and they passed inspection on the first time! When we had a fit issue with our new gas range, he quickly came and replaced the fitting to work with the fit of the oven. Everything is working great and we’ve had no issues. I can’t recommend Cool Breeze enough not only for your everyday HVAC repairs and maintenance but also for Gas line installations!

  • It has been 7-8 years since the OWNER himself came and replace the outside unit and I am STILL dealing with his ineptitude. This man from the start did not want to use the same path that the old unit used. He wanted to drill a hole on the side of my house, run the line 3 feet from the ground and cover it with a plastic white shroud on my brick home. I told him every time he suggested it no. Please, reuse the same path from the indoor furnace to the outside unit. He said "he will try but if it doesn't work, can he do his suggestion." Not only did I agree but I completely understood. I had to go to store and I was gone a couple of hours, coming back to him just cutting the old tubing, drilling a hole in my brick siding and had already drilled holes and placed the white plastic shroud on my house. I looked and he didn't even attempt to take the old tubing out. I now have dogs and one of them is mischievous. She continuously tears the cheap plastic shroud off the house and bite part of the wiring. Some may say it's not Cool Breezes fault for the dog doing that and maybe not directly but, if they cared about their customer....at all they would have listened to me and did it correctly instead of rushing to the next customer. I added pictures of the old piping that they squeezed clear caulking goo into the hole to prove what I'm saying. There are easy ways to get the tubing through the hole. An electrical snake comes to mind real fast. I am so disgusted all these years later. EDITED after response: You are wrong once again. I had told you I am able to replace drywall myself so if that's what was needed then do so. There's also no reason you couldn't tape the the new tubing to the old one when replacing it but you folks were so quick to go to the next job you did what you wanted to do it correctly. You didn't care about your customer. You are not welcome on my property.

  • Changing my review to one start due to their service provided recently. Back in July 2 they came out to address a pool of water in the crawl space due to pump not working therefore not pushing water outside the house. Charged $600 (I paid immediately) to have new pump installed. After the install, tech informed there was no power to the pump in return which caused the pool of water underneath and I need an electrician to investigate. Note, this company installed a new system in my house about 3 years ago for around $17k. So I decided to go underneath and test the outlet myself, I found part of it not working. Okay, good. I found the cause, however no warranty the electrican company that came out during their service 3 years ago. I found the old pump, tech left it. I tested it and confirmed it was in fact, in working condition. So they replaced a known good part with a new one. I mentioned this to the manager, after several texts back and forth, disappointed that nothing was comped, even the slightest bit. I questioned why the AC system would continue to run even though the pump stopped working. Accrued me that the system should stop so it doesn't flood with water. Issues continued, water again filling up. I crawl back and found the return house kinked and old looking? Not sure if it was replaced years ago. So their tech comes back out and replaced it. I hire another company to come out for an inspection. Come to find out, which I ask this before. The system was not installed properly to cut off if anything happens to the pump. So had to get it wired correctly so now should anything happens to the pump, the system will shut off. Shame after spending $17k a few years ago and $600 recently, that their repair and customer loyalty is non existent. I would not recommend them and wish I could have just went with someone else.

  • We used this company to install our unit in 2021. So we were expecting the same professionalism From Mellisa and Steven. That was not the case. They treat their technicians badly. The mistakes and miscommunication they blame on the technician instead of owning up. They apologize with no follow through or proper communication. They use a Tier system of what a repair can cost with no actual itemized sheet. This experience was so unorganized we decided to continue on with no air, as we have no faith in the repair from cool breeze. This is the picture of the price given to us with the part being covered by warranty. (Motor) We like to keep our money in the community but can not with good faith recomend this company to any one. Our technician was very kind. I hope he finds. Company that appreciates his work.

  • I give this company a 10 if I could! They are very professional and did a great job installing my new A/c unit! And the guys that work for them are top notch at its finest! Hire them to do your job you want be disappointed!!

    Stephanie H.

  • These guys are awesome! From initial contact to install, outstanding. I'm not going to go into detail about how great the deal was because I don't want to apply pressure to the houses they have to go to after mine. Locally owned!!

    Bill D.

  • They came to my house for the yearly maintenance on my air/heat unit and did a fantastic job. The technician was professional, thorough, and respectful of my home. Everything was explained clearly, and the system is running smoothly. Highly recommend their service!

    R C.

  • One thing I can say they was on time, but a $88 service call turned into almost $400, just to change a capacitor 15 minutes tops and he didn't even quote price before work was done. I paid $374.

    Terry R.

  • Once again Cool Breeze has served us well. Al arrived on time and demonstrated a high level of professionalism. Very good service!

    Glenn G.

  • I had an inspection of my HVAC system performed because another company had told me I had multiple problems that needed fixing right away. I wanted a second opinion to be sure that I wasn't being misled. Sure enough the tech who performed my inspection said that he didn't see any issues with my system. Very happy with the service and honesty of this company.

  • Honest, small and dependable company.

  • Cool Breeze replaced my downstairs HVAC system in 2021, and it has worked flawlessly since then, so I didn't hesitate to use them again to replace the upstairs system. Steven came out and looked it over, gave me three replacement options and had a crew install it today. It was another arduous job - 8 hours - this time getting the original 17 year old air handler out of the attic (last time it was in the crawl space). The crew was very neat with everything, and were very friendly and knowledgeable, answering any questions I had. Melissa, who handles the initial calls to the office is terrific, Steven is the consummate pro, their prices are very competitive. Everything booted up fine when they were done. It's running smooth as butter - very quiet. I'm comfortable leaving the review now, as opposed to waiting a few weeks, because I know they stand behind their work and would be out immediately to remedy any problem. You can trust these folks to do great work at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them. AAA+

  • I just had Cool Breeze July 3rd install my Bryant system in my townhouse, Stephen Bagby did an amazing job with the whole system including making the inside unit fit in a smaller area and replaced my thermostat with a modern one and replaced my condensation pump with a modern quiter one, I highly recommend them, and Chris was fast finding the major leak I had and getting me on schedule quickly so I would have air before the July 4th holiday!

    Stephen S.

  • We received prompt and professional service from Chris. He was very professional and educated us about our air conditioner units. He quickly diagnosed the problem and provided us with options on future maintenance. We will definitely contact Cool Breeze again should we have any future issues. Thanks Chris!

    William G.

  • I am so please with the service I received from Cool Breeze. Chris was my first contact. Chris came out on Friday and made sure I understood everything about my unit and explained how the wheel broke into and couldn’t be fixed. Then he tried as hard as possible to make sure I had AC on Monday. Three gentlemen - Stephen, Oscar and apprentice Kaleb were here at 8:30 am Monday and worked until after 7:30 pm ( it was a large job). I was cool and comfortable before they left. Everything was cleaned up and never even looked like they were here. Stephen has to come back out to install the part with the filter that had not come in yet and change my fuse, then the inspector. From the receptionist to every person I worked with, I give them high remarks. Hopefully I never have to have another unit but they will do all my mainteance! Thank you Cool Breeze!

  • Chris was very helpful at discovering the problem, the fix has worked! Great job Chris!
