• Back in March my neighbor was having some repairs made to his AC unit. I asked the tech, which turned out to be Austin Short, how much it would cost to install a new thermostat at my house. He came over and looked at it and said, it would cost $120 or so. He also said he felt that I could do the job myself and save the money. He gave me the instructions in plane language and offered to come back if I felt I could not do the job. I changed the thermostat and got my AC back up and running. He did not have to tell me how to change it, because it cost him a c-note, but he is a straight shooter and when I need a HVAC company, they are #1 in my phone. Thanks Austin, sorry it took so long to post this review.

• We had an issue with hot air blowing out of our upstairs AC. Danny came out and found the issue. Due to being an older system, he was honest about charging quite a bit for repair vs changing out the entire system. Danny, Cross and Austin came out the next day and changed out the entire thing working professionally and diligently on it to completion. Danny even came the next day to make sure everything was working properly. It works great, and I am usually happy with and trust Coppell Heating and AC as I have used them in the past as well. • Danny did a great job fixing the 2 airconditioners. He came out the next day (I called late) and diagnosed the damage from the lightning. He got the Trane board from Trane and returned and replace the board and restripped two shinged control wires. He also was able order and replace the vintage (27 years old) control board from Carrier. He was very polite, honest, and fast at a very reasonable price.

• We were lucky to have found them when we moved to Coppell about 20 years ago and have never used anyone else since. Always prompt, great communication by email, text and phone. Have an emergency? You better believe they are right on it, and we have had a few over the years. June 20th, 2025, Friday evening our old AC finally gave up the ghost. About 20 minutes after we called a tech was at our door to diagnose. Alas our unit was a goner. They rearranged their schedules to get us back up and running quickly. No fun in an 87-degree home and watching the temp go up and up. With 2 dogs and a kitty we could not get accommodation elsewhere. The techs arrived in the morning, never took a break, and by 5 p.m. we had a new AC unit and Heat Pump installed along with COOL, COOL AIR. It is not often you find such a reliable, honest, responsive and dedicated team like Coppell Heating and Air. Stick with them and they stick by you.
