Replacing your AC system is a major investment, and choosing the right company is just as important as choosing the right unit. DFW HVAC exceeded our expectations in every way! We first used DFW HVAC last summer when they added Freon to our aging system. Their honesty, transparency, and professionalism immediately earned our trust. We knew that when the time came for a replacement, they would be our first choice. That time arrived sooner than expected when our old system finally needed repairs that simply weren’t worth the investment. DFW HVAC carefully explained our options and recommended upgrading to a more efficient, appropriately sized system, as our previous unit had never adequately served our home. We chose the American Standard Gold Series, and the difference is incredible! Our home is quieter, more comfortable, and maintains temperatures we could never achieve before. It genuinely feels like a different house. The installation team arrived punctually and worked tirelessly into the evening. Despite discovering extensive additional ductwork and modifications were necessary, they honored their original estimate, even though the job involved considerably more work than anticipated. That speaks volumes about their integrity. They cleaned up thoroughly, followed up the next day to explain our thermostat, and even installed additional vents to improve airflow. Their attention to detail and genuine commitment to getting everything right were exceptional. My advice? Don’t simply choose the cheapest quote. Choose a company that understands your home, listens to your needs, and genuinely cares about delivering the best results. DFW HVAC didn’t just install a new system; they earned our confidence and delivered beyond their promises. We couldn’t be happier and recommend them without hesitation! DFW HVAC was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Their team was informative, professional, and clearly knew exactly what they were talking about. One thing that really stood out was their transparency. They provided videos showing the issues with our system, which gave us confidence in their diagnosis and recommendations. Not only was the service excellent, but it was also the cheapest refrigerant refill we’ve ever had. They were honest about the condition of our system and explained that we will eventually need a new unit, but there was never any pressure or upselling - just straightforward, trustworthy advice. Jonathan, one of the owners gave me a concise run down of the various problems and was very patient for over a half hour on the phone with all my questions. The crew only took about half of a day to remove the failed equipment and install the new replacement equipment. All in almost 100 deg heat! Neil, the co-owner was very conscientious and gathered pictures and model and serial numbers for out records. Neil bundled all this information in a detailed email. I checked the quote with my favorite AI and the DFWHVAC prices were under what the AI calculated. Great company to do business with! • Living in Dallas, I have needed to call an A/C repairman out many times. I tried several companies, but for the last few years i only call DFW HVAC because i know they won't try to upsell me on lots of extras, they're prices seem fair, they've always been able to fix it the first time, and if my A/C is out, they try to get to me quick. I knew they were good when they replaced a blown capacitor and didn't give me a huge markup on the replacement part. I'm the type of person who likes to stand behind the technician as they work on my house, and these guys have always been happy to let me do that, and explain to me what they are doing. My most recent problem was a blocked condensate drain line, and he showed me how to pour vinegar in the auxiliary port and use a flexible stick to break up the algae growth that was blocking the flow, so next time I'll be able to do it myself.
