Ted was here on time. He called ahead to let me know he was on his way. He listened to my concerns and he was very professional. He checked the furnace for leaks and checked all the gas lines including my gas fireplace. He answered all my questions, showed the leak and explained the procedures and options available. Told me costs and said he would send me all possible options to my email.

Jacob replaced 2 parts on my furnace that were rusted & rerouted the PVC line so the water would not go into the furnace again. He thoroughly tested everything. He was very friendly, polite & answered all my questions. He did a great job. His co-worker was also friendly & did a great job.

Outstanding across the board so far. They were able to fit me in for a same day appointment, diagnose the problem and gave me a couple of different options to solve our issue. Professional, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Unfortunately, as I had suspected, replacing our 20+ year old, badly damaged central air conditioner was the most practical fix. Fair price on a replacement (so much so that we went with an upgraded unit) and were able to schedule the install for two days from the service call. I have no doubt that Crain will be our go to HVAC company for maintenance and service from now on. September 2026 update - Still my go to HVAC, still great.

Ted is the best of the best. He’s been my “go to” A/C and heat specialist for years now. I moved into a house with a complicated boiler from a million years ago and he was the only person who had the knowledge and expertise to maintain it. He also installed a high efficiency boiler and water heater a couple of years ago and goes above and beyond. He is friendly and always keeps in mind that I have two kiddos if an issue arises and we are in need of heat to be remedied ASAP in winter. Best company ever! When the City Of Farmington Hills came in for their final inspection, they were beyond impressed with his work.
