• $140 to come tell us that they need to do an $1800 test to tell us what's wrong with our AC unit. Rip off. edit: If that was a comprehensive fix, then why didn't you say that when I called? • This weekend we discovered we had water on the floor by the furnace. After being unhappy with our current home heating company we were in search of a company who had customer service as a priority who would be willing to help us. Based on a recommendation by a friend I called Dow's Climate Care. I spoke to Don. Though it was snowing, freezing and late he was willing to come to replace the condensation pump. Since there was not a lot of water we decided to wait the night out and have the repair completed the next day. In the morning Don gave us a time for when he could come and he arrived promptly. He was quick in exchanging the pump. He confidently and patiently answered my questions. When he was finished Don packed up all the garbage and took it with him.
