• I had Duvall hook my grill up to my natural gas line. The natural gas line was already installed, it just needed a couple of parts like the shutoff valve, coupler, and quick disconnect for the grill. The tech showed up without calling ahead, but that was fine since I was at home. He looked at it and told me it would be $195 and would do it when I had the grill, which was being delivered the following day. I had to call again to schedule another appointment with the AI phone system that takes way too long. A different tech came out the 2nd time. He was nice and the install looked good, but his price came out to $430. Again, $195 was what I was originally quoted. I asked the tech if that seemed high, and he laughed and said not really since its natural gas. This job took an hour maybe, including him leaving to pick up parts. When I talked to someone in the office about this on the phone, they said the quote also included the parts they had to purchase plus the install, but someone would call me back. Overall the install looks clean, and I needed the hookup done for the weekend so I paid it, but I’m frustrated that my bill was 2x what the initial quote was. I’ll update this if anything changes, but I can’t recommend this company if they are going to have employees just making up quotes and can’t communicate properly.
