• I recently had the pleasure of working with Nichols and Sons, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Corey came out to repair our leaking outdoor faucet and was incredibly knowledgeable. He explained exactly what needed to be done and handled the repair quickly and efficiently. What impressed me most was Corey’s professionalism and clear communication. He made sure I understood the process and left the area neat and tidy when he was finished. • Have an older HVAC system (Lennox ~30years) and realized my system was not cooling at all. I'm enough of a DIYer that I found a bad capacitor and contactor and changed all that out with no result. Called this company and they sent out Corey (I believe, sorry my memory is awful). A lot of the PE owned HVAC companies probably would have tried to upsell a new unit, which I still might do in the shoulder season, but instead he methodically tested and figured out my compressor leaked all the refrigerant from it. After discussing leak test options, while he started to refill it, he noticed a valve leaking and replaced it. The 9 lbs of refrigerant wasn't cheap by any means, however less expensive than a new unit and has run cold now for about three weeks. Would definitely recommend to any and all. Please keep local businesses local and frequent them.

• After losing my husband of nearly 24 years last November, I knew I had to find someone who could help me with a wide array of home repairs and remedies. I’m so grateful for finding Cory and Nichols & Sons. I prefer to work with smaller, local, and family-owned businesses over the bigger guys. Cory came out to do a check on my AC/heating unit last December. He noticed I didn’t have any air filters so he ran to Lowe’s to pick some up and also returned with a carbon monoxide monitor/alarm, which he also installed. Now in July, he removed and installed a new storm door for me and I have several other projects on my Nichols & Sons list. It’s a joy to know them.
