Since 2013, Flotechs Plumbing & Heating, a licensed and insured plumbing company based in Yonkers, has proudly served residential and commercial customers across all of Westchester County. Known for reliable plumbing service and quality workmanship, we handle everything from emergency plumbing calls and routine heating and cooling maintenance to full heating and cooling system (HVAC) installations. We’re licensed by Con Edison to perform gas line testing and service turn-ons, and we specialize in oil-to-gas conversions. • We have worked with Flotechs for years for many various plumbing and heating issues. They are very responsive, and provide quality workmanship. From diagnosing problems, to discussing repair options, to completing the work, they have always provided fair pricing and excellent service. Most recently, Flotech installed a Fujitsu Airstream multi-room mini-split heating and AC system in our home. Jose and Andrew carefully determined what was needed for the best possible results. All necessary components and parts were delivered, and the work was done quickly with minimal disruption to our family. They were very respectful and cleaned up at the end of each day, and at the completion of the job. Additionally, the final price matched the upfront estimate with no hidden extras. I highly recommend Flotech for anyone looking for knowledgeable professional heating, AC, and all plumbing services.

• Just used Flotechs again for a kitchen faucet problem. Everything I wrote below still applies, including the same workmen, which in itself says something very good about the type of company it is. An extra thing I forgot to mention the first time: the office also sends in advance photos and short bios of the plumbers, so there's no doubt who's ringing your door bell. I can't praise the experience enough. Our problem was the replacement of a radiator steam valve in our apartment during heating season, which required coordination with the building super, which they handled. We were very pleased with the entire service provided by Flotechs, from the initial call until the workmen walked out the door. The job was arranged and completed within several days after the first contact. The customer communication was exemplary: status emails right down to a heads up call from the plumber as he was nearing our apartment - on the date and at the time agreed to. While the workmen, Dave and Jason, were friendly, they got right to work after carefully protecting the are with their drop cloths. After ensuring the system was holding steam, they departed in under an hour with not a trace left behind. And, by the way, their price was very competitive. Kudos.

If you are looking for a plumber, look no further. These guys are great. Very professional with fair prices. I hired them to replace my hot water heater and maintenance on my boiler. One of the things that I absolutely loved about them was they sent an email with the guys pictures and a little bio of who was coming to do the work. How great is that, especially in this day and age when you have to be careful about letting anyone in your house. They were on time, polite, knowledgeable and friendly. I can't say enough about them. • Did not get a chance to use them cause they were hard to get a hold of to even schedule an appt. I have a 9-5 job and they did call me back, left a voicemail, but there’s no after hours when I tried to reach back after work. I called Roto Rooter and they picked up at 8pm and I had a tech handle my plumbing issue the same night. Sorry but there are better options…

• Extremely unprofessional and unreliable service, I would avoid them at all costs. Flotech came to fix our HVAC over the summer and the AC worked but they capped off the TT wires to the furnace so once winter hit, there was no way to turn the heat off once it turned on. We contacted Flotech to fix the issue but they never showed up for their appointment. I tried calling a number of times and also emailed them but I’ve been completely ghosted by their office. Every call goes straight to voicemail even during their normal business hours. I’m shocked at how unprofessional this business is and will be taking my business elsewhere from now on. EDIT: I wanted to reply to their response to confirm that I never received a phone call from their office. I just checked over my phone records again and I have 7 outgoing calls to Flotech and 0 incoming. In fact, I have 0 incoming calls on that date, the day before, or the day after. I also sent an email that was never responded to. This is the only forum they’ve responded because it’s public and they have flat out lied. We never had a conversation after this, the “on demand request” is also a lie. Absolutely shameful business practices.

• Our new go-to for plumbing issues. Pricing is fair. They're responsive and can accommodate in a timely manner. The techs are on time and super knowledgeable and patient. We didn't feel like they were trying to upsell or mansplain anything. They did their best to keep the job at a reasonable amount of time. • Flotechs has an agreement with my condo association. They cleared a slow moving bath tub drain in my unit without my knowledge or authorization and billed me $299. I accept they should be paid for services but I asked for a refund of half of the charge which is unreasonably high and because I never approved or authorized the work. They refused. Unacceptable and think twice before you hire a business that puts money over treating customers with respect or as they would expect to be treated as a customer.

• Came to my building to fix a gas issue. Gas issue was fixed and they were helpful in that sense. However, they broke my stove when pulling it out to service the gas line. • I called Flowtechs Plumbing early in the morning because of a potential gas leak around our dryer. Johnnie arrived a few hours later and immediately assessed the situation, confirmed no gas leak from the line and then recommended replacing the vent hose given the very poor condition of the current one. We then took Johnnie through the house to discuss other plumbing issues we had including fixing a leaky tub faucet and a toilet that was not flushing to full capacity. Johnnie was an incredible technician with the ultimate customer service attitude. He took the time to explain situations, recommendations and listened patiently to our questions before answering them. I have never had such a positive experience with plumbing professionals. This experience has made us permanent Flowtech customers for as long as we live in the area.
