My AC died midsummer and I got several estimates. Glass City was easily the best value with great service, knowledgeable professional techs, and reasonable options that suited my needs. They're great and I highly recommend them to anyone! Adding 9/16/2026: Glass City itself does still do wonderful work HOWEVER! they have begun working with an extraordinarily predatory lender. I cosigned for my son in law when his AC went out expecting we would get loan payoff information. Neither he nor I ever received anything in either email or snail mail nor was there any info from Glass City for how to contact them. We were told a first due date and still had no info for paying back that loan as the date came and passed. It was only (much!) later when I got a phone call showing up as "Service Finance" that we had a clue where the lender could be. I answered that phone call and no one on the other line answered me, hanging up after 44 seconds. They left messages if I did not answer but never spoke to me until I started calling them. Furthermore we tried then to see about paying them and found that they do not take online payments unless they are during business hours (not they aren't processed; payments simply cannot be taken outside of limited business hours) and they also *only* take payments from bank accounts with no card options possible at all. Glass City may do good work but they did not believe us when we told them how that lender acted. Beware if you need financing as this was literally the worst lender I have ever run into. The hassle there makes me wonder if Glass City itself is simply no longer trustworthy.

Amazing company to work with! Technician was super supportive in teaching me home maintenance on my own system to maintain a healthy furnace and home! In addition, our home warranty company asked for answers to a list of questions to be reimbursed and Glass City HVAC went above and beyond answering and in being thorough! They don’t work with warranty companies directly, but will get you everything you need for you as the homeowner to send in to get reimbursed! They have truly earned my business for years to come!

I called Glass City after another company (that had installed my system 7 years ago) gave me an absolutely absurd overpriced quote to repair my AC. My parts were under warranty but I was responsible for the labor. Glass City did a more thorough diagnosis and their quote was literally thousands less than the other company's. They replace my compressor and when the new one was bad right out of the box, they stood behind their work and estimate, got another one, and some additional parts that were needed, and completed the job. Highly recommend.

They have always been respectful and aren't put off by my asking questions. Each person I have had takes the time to explain the process of a repair or simple maintenance. I had a previous furnace co for years that would just put a bandaid on a continuous problem or show me what to do when the problem arose. Glass City solved my problem by trying various options and because they cared enough to cone up eith a solution thst woukd be the best for me. Dince then they have been my furnace co and I am so glad I switched!!!
