Heatwave Mechanical is the only HVAC company I will ever use going forward. My condenser coil sprung a leak and I lost all of my unit’s refrigerant. I called another company that I had used for several years and they said my only option was to replace the coil, and quoted me several thousand dollars to do so. I asked if it could be repaired and they wouldn’t even entertain doing so. Enter Diego at Heatwave—I called him in the morning and he said he was happy to take a look and tell me whether repair was feasible. He was at my home later that afternoon, was able to repair my coil, and had me back up and running with cold AC that evening for 1/4 the price. Excellent customer service with fair, transparent pricing and no attempted upsales. What more could you ask for?

I cannot recommend Diego enough! He was knowledgeable, friendly, reasonably priced, and extremely skilled at his craft. He even came out on a Saturday (after already completed the hvac work for us) to plug something in that I had missed and didn’t even charge us for his time. We will be repeat customers for sure!

The service manager was very good at explaining the difference in the higher efficiency units. We went with a 18 seer rated furnace and two stage condenser we noticed a huge decrease in our electrical bill. Supper happy clients!! Thank you heat wave.

I had two HVAC companies back down on 5 of my projects. My buddy referred me to Diego, and he came the same day to give me a free quote on all the jobs. That was the best decision I had made! This is the best HVAC company in DFW. I got my estimates and timeframe to complete all projects. If anything came up, Diego would make sure to keep me updated. Diego came to our new house we just bought and our ac system had just gone out, of course during this horrible heatwave. We had hired another company to do repairs They quoted us one price and then it cost twice as much and didn’t help. For a new system, the other company quoted us twice as much and we just knew that wasn’t right. When we found Diego we were thrilled. His bid seemed much more in line with what we expected. He did a great job and even found an electrical problem we didn’t know about. He is professional very nice and I would highly recommend him. Give him a call if you need anything. Great guy too.

Our AC unit went out late in the on a Friday. Diego and the boys were there first thing Saturday morning to diagnose and work up an estimate. Issues and options were clearly and patiently explained. Very professional but not a big corporate feel. New unit installed first thing Tuesday morning and we were back to normal.Everything clean and sharply done! This was our first time using Heat Wave and they are now our go to for all our HVAC issues.

When I contacted the company, Diego answered the phone promptly.
