J&L Plumbing and Air began in a saddle shed behind our home in Queen Creek. Just a guy and his brother in law trying to provide for our families. One thing that we decided right from the start is that we'd never, ever forget where we came from. With a focus on doing the right thing we started to expand and grow. Now, a few short years later and we have a growing team who share the same values and vision of helping customers and each other as best we can. • Was lied to by their technician for almost a Week even though I gave him at least five or six chances to be honest while I was waiting for a hot water heater went back-and-forth between the technician and my homework company until the plumbing company admitted that it was them wanting all this extra money For something that was completely unnecessary and had nothing to do with The actual problem, not knowing that I know more about plumbing than they thought they continue to lie to me about parts that had to be replaced! Needless to say, I told my Home warranty company to send out a different company

• Honest company - CJ was great and easy to work with, kept me informed. Unlike AM PM plumbing who are scammers. AM PM Plumbing told me there was a foreign object blocking my faucet, NOT sediment/wear and tear; and I would have to pay them out-of-pocket for a replacement. I got a second opinion, it turned out to be sediment, and it was completely covered by warranty. GO TO J&L!!!!

• Look at Yelp reviews. The Google reviews are higher and I believe they are providing incentives for the good reviews. I’ve hate working with this company. We unfortunately use them through our home warranty but we will be making sure we can use a different company. Pedro was supposed to come between the window of 8-noon. He came at 755 and knocked. We were not available at that time. I have been sitting at my door since 8. He came at 755. He said he sent us a text he was going to be early. There is no point in arrival windows if they aren’t going to come during them. It’s a pain to even get on the schedule with them in the first place. I called the front office and they said that they should be arriving during the window. It’s Friday and I have to wait until Tuesday to have them come back. They didn’t show up for the rescheduled appointment either. Don’t trust this company especially if you are using your warranty.

• I called my home warranty company about a clogged sink which happened the day before an international trip. I needed the clogged taken care of that day. They sent JLPlumbing. Colton was my service tech. He was there by noon that day and had the clogged cleared very quickly. He called before arrival to give me an ETA. He was right on time. • Reading other reviews on here, I’ve noticed a pattern: J and L plumbing are absolutely atrocious when it comes to helping people who are using them through a home warranty claim. Every single one star review I’ve read has to do with a home warranty claim. Sorry guys, just because our home warranty place picks you, doesn’t give you the right to treat the customers like trash. Trust me, if it were up to us, we WOULD NEVER PICK YOU EITHER. My experience with them has been horrific and I’m not being dramatic. They are the WORST when it comes to communication, hard to track down for answers, and a simple job of replacing a trim kit turned out to be almost a 2 month ordeal because THEY kept ordering the wrong size for our shower. They installed 3 different trim kits 3 different times. Every time I had to call them back it was MINIMUM an hour hold time on the phone. There’s so many details of the issues that went down but I won’t waste my time or yours. I basically had to beg them to come out and finish their job THEY kept messing up. I had to be the one to keep on it because nothing was being done. The funniest part of it all that was the last straw and provoked me to write this review was that after this horrible frustrating 2 month long process of no communication and proving very difficult to work with, we finally get someone out who claimed to be at least a ‘Manager’ of some sort and seemed very sincere when he told us to reach out to him directly if we needed anything else at all. Stupid naïve me believed him and texted him with a question: No response. Nothing. What a joke of a company. Professionalism, customer service, and communication are all foreign concepts to them. Next time I place a claim with my Home Warranty I will INSIST that they do not pick J and L.

• When you choose a company to work on your home, professionalism and safety should always come first. My water heater failed about a week ago, and I contacted my home warranty company. They sent out a plumbing company to inspect the issue. During the assessment, the technician discovered that water had seeped into the base of the structure. Rather than simply replacing the water heater, the plumber took the time to explain that they could not perform the installation until the damaged area was repaired and met safety standards. It was clear that this company values doing the job the right way, not the easy way. After repairing the foundation so it met code requirements, I'm now scheduled to have the new water heater installed. It's refreshing to work with a company that puts safety, integrity, and quality workmanship ahead of rushing through a job. I truly appreciate the technician's professionalism and commitment to protecting homeowners. That's the kind of service that earns trust and deserves recognition.

• Home warranty company had jl to replace water heater. Quote was double what home warranty showed they were supposed to bill. Went back and forth home warranty said we had to use jl for install. Finally agreed to pay $600 extra so $1200 labor to install a water heater!!!!! Then jl said they couldnt source a 75 gallon water heater for 3 weeks. I got one from lowes in 2 hours and had a other plumber i have used in the past install it for the original $600. Would never reccomend this company. Just honest feedback from a few hours of wasted time on calls and days waiting to resolve a failed water heater.

• J&L Plumbing & Air was dispatched through my home warranty company, and I was very impressed with Luke, the plumber who replaced my garbage disposal and two sink faucets. He was professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and did excellent work. Based on my experience with him alone, I would highly recommend J&L. The only reason I'm not giving five stars is the communication from the office. When I initially placed the work order, I advised them that I had a 3/4 HP garbage disposal, but that information was not included on the order. I also left a voicemail asking them to confirm they had added a second faucet to the work order after it was approved by my home warranty company. I never received a return call, and the faucet was not added. When I contacted Old Republic Home Protection, they confirmed it had, in fact, been authorized. Overall, the quality of Luke's workmanship and professionalism made for a very positive experience. I would recommend J&L Plumbing & Air, but I hope they improve communication between the office and their customers.
