We called magic touch to look at our indoor fireplace, which hadn't been working for two whole years. George did an absolute star job! He quickly figured out the issue: the pilot light and sensor were just dirty and needed a thorough cleaning. George was super meticulous, took the time to clean everything carefully, and even rearranged the fire logs so neatly that the fireplace looks brand new now. Thanks to his great work, our fireplace is finally back up and running. We're so excited to enjoy a cozy hearth again just in time for the holidays. I highly recommend George to anyone looking for a reliable, detailed, and skilled professional. Thanks a million, George!

Magic Touch Mechanical installed our Bosch heat pumps six years ago, and having them handle the installation was one of the worst decisions we have ever made. Every single year since the installation, we have spent over a thousand dollars fixing things that have gone wrong. Today (1/16/2026), we just spent another $1,500 fixing basic installation issues.Over the years, we have had to replace two motherboards, a transformer, a condenser, and two thermostats, alongside numerous other parts too frequent to mention. While most of the parts were covered under warranty, we still had to pay a fortune out of pocket for labor. The poor quality began on day one. When they installed our two units, a technician actually went through our ceiling. To make matters worse, they left the units sitting completely off-center on the pads in the backyard. The old saying is completely true: "The most important part of improving your home is not the product you put in, but the people who are putting the product in." Magic Touch deserves an F for their work. We have gotten to the point where we are genuinely afraid to turn our units on.

Their rates were very reasonable compared to their competitors. George was out to do annual maintenance on my gas fireplace, and he was very thorough. He discussed some optional items I could do but was never pushy. I'll have them back out next year.

As a technician, Matthew was very upbeat, friendly, and professional. He made sure that my expectations matched his performance and that I understand first, that I was getting Diagnostics done, at which point I would be presented with the problem and usually choices for the solution. I explained that it had been many years since the AC unit itself had been maintenanced, and from his findings, he found that the recharge valves, the inlet for the AC refrigerant, high and low pressure, had slowly leaked out most of the refrigerant. So, adding brass non-leak caps to the recharge vaules and recharging the system to the manufacturer's specification was imminent. While the initial cost felt a bit surprising—as the total was about triple the retail price of the refrigerant itself—I want to note that this price did include a one-year warranty and two future seasonal maintenance services (one for this fall and one for next spring). Since it has been years since my last service, I am not entirely sure how this compares to other companies, but including those future visits definitely adds piece of mind. To close out the service, Matthew's supervisor, Max, brought the refrigerant out and helped complete the actual recharge. Max was also great—he provided very knowledgeable information and was incredibly nice and friendly. Overall, it was a highly positive experience with both technicians. The jury is still out on the price 🙄...the total I paid was $1,209...if there is someone reading this that can tell me how that price fairs amongst competitors that would be wonderful!! If you factor out the 1yr warranty and the two service visits, the total for the brass caps (leak repair) and the system recharge (w/refrigerant costs) was $956, if i recall correctly. So, $253 for the 1yr warranty and 2 service visits is what that cost. I also might as well add that the upfront diagnostic fee was $189, on its own, but would be built into the price if they do the work. Given that price breakdown, how does the rate that I paid fair amongst other competitors?

Magic Touch solved our inoperative AC unit. George was outstanding! Friendly, respectful, and efficient. Had us up and running quickly and explained what was wrong clearly. Have been using Magic Touch for 15 years. They installed our current systems and serviced them since. Nearly every experience we’ve had with them showed them to be professional and do quality work!! Even Rich (owner) came out once to try to help find a solution, made a suggestion and solved the problem. They have a great staff of folks always helpful Nearing time to replace these systems and I will continue to trust Magic Touch Mechanical!

Highly recommend Max and Ismael!! They installed two bathroom fans in our 1959 home that has some interesting quirks which definitely complicated the project. They stuck it out and finished the job even though it took much longer than expected. Super professional and answered all of our questions.

This is an actual family run business and not one bought out by wallstreet and private equity. That means my technician arrived, assessed the problem, told me how much it would cost then fixed it, and DID NOT TRY TO UPSELL ME SOME BS EVEN ONCE. 5/5.

Service technician George Espinoza arrived to determine why the compressor on a Trane AC unit was failing to energize. He was persistent and methodical in determining that the Soft Start module had failed. Removal of the module and a direct connection to the compressor solved the operational problem. Very pleased with his expertise and professionalism. He is certainly is an asset for Magic Touch Mechanical and I continue to be impressed with Magic Touch Mechanical's performance.

Their technician was very methodical and determined to solve the problem with my air conditioner. He worked very hard and finally found the motor deterioration problem. After he spoke with his company, Magic Touch, they were able to have the manufacturer cover the replacement motor and I was only responsible for installation costs. I am so grateful for Matthew and Magic Touch!

Contacted Magic Touch to swap out an electric, linear fireplace. Thought it was going to be a simple swap since we were replacing with the same model, but found out that the original unit was not properly installed. Max was great in informing me if the cost and the amount of time the job would take, which was $1000 less than another company quoted. He was able to remove the old unit without any damage to the existing tile panels, which the other company said they would have to damage and replace. I'm thankful that Max knew what he was doing. The new unit looks and functions great. If I need work done on or need to replace my other units, they will be the first company I'll call and ask for Max.
