Martin Indoor Air Quality, and from our initial conversations through installation, HERS testing and the final city inspection, our experience was excellent. Jack was a major reason we chose J. • I've never used J Martin Indoor Air Quality Heating and Air Conditioning for HVAC work, so this review has nothing to do with the quality of their actual services. It does, however, have everything to do with one of their company vans aggressively cutting me off on the freeway. If you’re going to drive around in a rolling billboard with your company name plastered all over it, you might want to remember that the person you’re cutting off at freeway speeds can read it. Two stars because I can’t speak to their HVAC work. I can only speak to the free demonstration of aggressive lane-changing I received on the 91 toll lanes. Plan your entry better next time.

• Field tech Milo Floyd arrived to diagnose our AC problem. He was friendly, polite and very respectful. He was very easy to talk to and a good listener. He explained what he saw as the problem and clearly explained next steps before doing anything. He made sure that we understood all options available to us. He explained them and didn’t push us toward any one option, instead he gave us the pros and cons of each one, leaving the final decision up to us. Even though it was very late by the time we got through everything, Milo didn’t rush us and made sure that we were comfortable with our decision. We asked him a lot of questions, which did not annoy him and he took the time to explain. He was also tidy and left everything completely clean when he finished. It is hard to find someone who cares this much about both the tech work and customer service. We highly recommend him!After having our AC problem diagnosed by Milo Floyd of J Martin IAQ we then scheduled the installation of a Daikin 7+ Heat Pump to replace an aging America Standard. We also had a whole house fan installed as well. Christian and William came to handle it all. They were very pleasant, professional and respectful of our home. It was a miserably hot day (100+) yet they were cheerful as they went about their business. Old equipment was removed, the new was carefully installed and they both took extra care to determine the best position for the intake grate for the whole house fan. We also appreciated that, even at the end of a long, hot day, they both made sure to check that everything was cleaned up and that we understood how to use our new equipment. We are so very grateful to have found J Martin! We feel that they provide both excellent service and very fair pricing and will continue to call them for any future needs.

• Couldn't recommend J Martin Indoor Air Quality highly enough. Our air conditioning decided to give us trouble on the hottest day of the year. We reached out to J Martin and they were incredibly responsive, came out the same day, quickly diagnosed the issue and had our AC repaired and running properly again. • Awesome experience from Shay and J.Martin. True 5 Star service! Our AC went out over the weekend, and I called Martin first thing Monday morning hoping they could check our system the same day. They were able to fit us in that afternoon and gave us a service window between 3:00 and 5:00. Considering the heat we’ve been having, I honestly thought we’d be lucky to have someone there by 6:00. Instead, I received a text at 2:15 letting me know Shay Gutierrez was already on his way. Shay thoroughly checked our system. I’ve had some frustrating experiences with other contractors trying to upcharge us, so when Shay gave us the news on our 20-year-old AC system, I was fearing the worst. To my surprise, he told us it just needed a good cleaning. He thoroughly cleaned the entire system and got us back up and running at a very affordable price. With a 20-year-old system, Shay could have easily told us we needed expensive repairs or even a replacement, and we probably would have believed him. Instead, he was honest about what we actually needed and took care of the problem. Shay and J. Martin clearly care about their customers and about providing honest, quality service.

• Kevin Seitz is amazing! I was in escrow selling a rental property and time was of the essence. He was able to quickly diagnose, explain, and resolve multiple issues. The primary drain line coming out of the evaporator coil was slightly on a decline because the evaporator coils had settled downward, causing the water not to flow properly. Kevin redesigned the primary line to have more drop, and he also needed to clear the primary drain line which involved multiple rooms. He was extremely clean and left the condo spotless. Kevin is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, honest, and his pricing was extremely fair! I highly recommend Kevin and the entire J Martin team!

We were referred to J Martin by a colleague of ours, and it was the BEST decision that we have made when it comes to HVAC. We are writing today to both share our past and present experience and to praise Jared Martin and his team, whose knowledge and dedication were absolutely invaluable in the service process. For years, we were constantly making repairs to our AC systems. Every summer we would be stressed out about the AC no longer functioning, so we would set the temperature higher than a comfortable level as to not strain the system and in hopes that it would not fail. But every summer something would go wrong and we would go days waiting for a temporary repair. If the upstairs AC went out, we would bring a mattress downstairs and sleep downstairs for days. Thankfully we have 2 separate systems to be able to do this. After 10 years of stretching out our old systems and constantly stressing on these components in our home that are meant to bring comfort, we were blessed to have discovered J Martin. Upon our first contact with J Martin in September of 2025, we had the pleasure of speaking with Ruby over the phone. She is such a kind and sweet person with phenomenal customer service. When we first began looking into repairing our Air conditioner, as with most people, we were a bit overwhelmed. Ruby and the other customer service staff were easy to get in contact with and they scheduled us very quickly. She was extremely transparent with coordinating our requests. She scheduled an inspection for our non-functioning downstairs system and we were blessed to have Jesus Ochoa come to our home. He is an absolute Gem of a human being. He didn’t try to sell us on a new system at first, but instead he simply educated us on how the systems work and what the deficiencies in our systems were. The coolant was sub-level, our ducts were undersized and our condenser and furnace were simply old. He informed us that he could fix it and provided the cost to repair the system, but we would run into these problems again in the future (as we had been for 10 years since we purchased our home). The fact that he educated us with things we never had knowledge of helped us to make the decision to just purchase a brand-new complete system. New condenser, ducts, furnace, Merv 13 air filter, etc. When it came down to the day of our install, we felt so comfortable with the lead installer Santiago Nunez and his team Chris and Frankie. They were so courteous, professional and polite. The install went SO smooth and they patiently answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns. They did a great job of protecting our belongings during the install, including protecting our floors, carpets and clothing in our closet. Santiago, Chris and Frankie are the dream team! Last year we knew that we would eventually need to replace our Upstairs system as well sometime soon. We contacted J Martin again in June 2026 and Jesus showed up like a hero. We were already comfortable with his honesty and sincerity. He put together a system for us based on his knowledge of our home and we moved forward with a brand-new complete system. We were SO happy with the Lead installer Irvin and his crew Kevin, Oleyvo and Pablo. They were ALL extremely professional, kind and so considerate. Irvin and his crew went out of their way to make sure we were happy and they even did things pertaining to the system that they didn’t even have to do!!! This new system is amazing. J Martin earned our trust and respect, and we will not hesitate to recommend them to our friends and family for their Heating and Air Conditioning needs. • Having used J Martin for an AC tuneup few weeks ago, Shay let me know that there was asbestos in my mom‘s attic. So we used J Martin to remove the asbestos and fully clean and sanitize the attic. The air ducts we’re also old and and so we had them replaced and then lastly put in good insulation. The workers were amazing! This project took several days because I decided to have them also clean my attic and put in good insulation. Angel and Leo were there every day and were extremely kind, courteous, and professional!
