• A/C & Furnace Maintenance: September 2026 This year was my third maintenance service with Maple Air. It’s also the third time that the technician named Azam performed the service. I find that Azam is very knowledgeable & thorough taking his time to check the various parts & components. He checked the A/C first & then did a systematic inspection of the furnace. While he was checking the furnace he detected a problem with the gas valve. He tested the gas valve again & it was still defective. He ordered a new gas valve. I called the Maple Air- Heating, Cooling & Electrical after hours phone number and spoke to Ali. Within several hours Azam, a terrific technician, was at my door. He restarted the furnace and ordered parts on Monday morning. Azam returned both Monday to replace one part and Tuesday to replace another one, and because I am enrolled in the Maple Care Maintenance and Protection Plan, this was all at no cost to me. I want to thank Ali for his prompt attention to my situation and for his professionalism. I especially want to thank Azam. I have known Azam for many years and he is always prompt, efficient, thorough and courteous. He is an excellent technician. • After 23 years, our furnace and air conditioner were in need of replacement, so my wife and I began shopping around for a heat pump with an auxiliary gas furnace as a backup for extremely cold weather. We contacted several installers including Maple Air. Farzad gave us a competitive quote on a Bosch system we had decided would suit our needs. The quotes we received from other installers who came highly recommended were quite close, but we decided to go with Maple Air and are very happy we did. Farzad was very attentive to what we wanted when he came to look at what we had planned, and did a marvellous job expediting the process, arranging for duct cleaning in advance, setting up the energy audit for the rebate program, and lining up a team of technicians to do the installation at a time that suited us. It is testimony to their efficiency that the system was installed and running perfectly less than two weeks after we first contacted Maple Air. The installation involved visits from both electricians and HVAC specialists and took two days; but the entire team was very careful and efficient about their work, and did a very fine job of extending new vents and electrical connections through the exterior wall without unnecessary damage to the brickwork, which they left neatly sealed. The new system is running well and the heat pump cools and dehumidifies our house much more effectively than our old air conditioner ever did, even when it was new. A few days after the installation Farzad made a follow up visit to make sure everything was working well and to our liking. We were attracted to Maple Air mainly with an eye to future service. They are a large organization with many expert technicians available, so after seeing how they go about their work we have enrolled in their Maple Care program, and feel that by doing so our HVAC needs are taken care of for the foreseeable future. We recommend Maple Air highly. Followup: Just writing to confirm that signing up for Maple Care is a very good idea for anyone buying complex new equipment these days. I noticed that the new Ecobee thermostat wasn’t igniting the gas furnace on the auxiliary heat setting, although it still worked fine activating the heat pump. So even though we had not lost all our heat, Neal came promptly to assess the problem and Reza came the next day to replace the thermostat. Instead of just installing a new thermostat and going away, Reza was very careful to test all wiring and connections and spent 4 hours to calibrate everything and make sure the problem wouldn’t recur. And all this was covered by the Maple Care program. It is the coldest part of the 2024 winter right now, and two of our neighbours just had to have their furnaces replaced at the worst possible time. I sleep better knowing that Maple Air will be there when needed. Follow-up: I have been a Maple Care customer for a year now, so naturally I engaged Maple Air to install a Mitsubishi ductless heat pump system in a new extension I have just had built at the back of my house. Farshid and his partner to an excellent job setting up the new units and worked well with my contractor and electrician in quickly and efficiently finishing the work. Follow-up: I have been a Maple Care customer for many years. Recently I have had trouble with my Navien Tankless water heater failing to maintain a steady output of hot water. Maple’s technician Saeid was very professional, showed up on time and went about his work with consummate efficiency. It was a tricky problem and not easily solved. He quickly diagnosed that there was a problem with a leaky mixing valve in a downstairs sink. At this point many technicians would have said that I have a separate plumbing problem and left me with no hot water. But Saeid persevered and discovered that there was also a problem with the recirculation system in the unit and managed to get everything functioning properly again. He kept at it until he was sure I had hot water. And that’s why I am very happy to be a Maple Care customer.
