I got an HVAC air-conditioning unit from Neptune. They did not attach the actuator valve. I have called and emailed a multitude of times and I cannot get them to come out and attach the valve. Their customer service is terrible.

I had Neptune install a wall-through unit as well as clean/service two other units. They were easy to communicate with for scheduling purposes, provided a COI, and am overall happy with the end result. As I live in a building with larger wall sleeves, there is some amount of insulation that is required to fill the empty space and properly install a wall unit. Originally the technician was using plain old silver metallic duct tape for that which I did not like aesthetically. I purchased white duct tape for them to use instead so that it would not stick out like a sore thumb.

Not sure what I would've done without Neptune. I couldn't turn on my AC during the peak of the NYC summer heat because it started to smell musty and gross, and based on my research, this is the only place that actually takes the unit to their shop for a proper deep clean. Many other local HVAC companies were completely unresponsive or unprofessional. Working with Neptune was fairly straightforward. As other reviewers have noted, I highly recommend using their website to submit an inquiry instead of calling. They reply fast and the scheduling was smooth. In my case, the pickup crew arrived within 3 days, and the cleaned AC was returned about 5 days later. The team was professional and respectful, and my AC looks and runs almost as good as new. Stored my window A/C unit with Neptune 2 years in a row. First year was flawless: second year (2026), things slipped significantly. Communications were lacking and my unit was installed cracked and broken. It has been consistently making a loud rattling and popping sound (which had not happened the prior 2 summers) and when I contacted them to take a look, they were again non responsive save for one offer to come out at a time I’m unavailable. I asked for a different time slot and repeatedly followed up with no response. Huge bummer as they had been great prior, but I’ll now have to pay several hundred dollars to replace my nice Windmill unit that they broke.

This is one of my favorite New York City services. Neptune Air Conditioning installs, uninstalls, cleans, and stores my air conditioners every year. Their guys are always right on time, very friendly, and incredibly efficient. It's so easy to set up the appointment via email and they have all the necessary insurance for any building. I have used them for a few years now and love getting my ACs out of my windows when summer ends. I trust Neptune 100%--cannot recommend them enough!

Scheduling to install and uninstall was easy with Neptune through email. They arrived on time, did a quick, clean job. It was money will spent to not have to deal with storing the giant AC in the winter ourselves, or having to deal with annoying building super to install!

I purchased two through the wall ACs from Neptune last summer. Shortly after I noticed one of the units was not working properly. Technicians came and assured me there were no issues. Fast forward a year and the unit stopped working completely. I had to deal with the manufacturer directly to get a warranty replacement (Neptune didn’t help at all). Neptune did offer to install the new unit free of charge. They were told multiple times which unit to replace including on the day of installation. They then proceeded to replace the wrong unit. So they effectively stole a working unit from my apartment and left the broken unit in place. They refuse to remediate the situation. Stay away from this company.
