• I was referred by a family member and am very glad I chose this company. We had a new furnance and AC put in as well as some ducting repaired about a month ago and it has worked fantastic ever since. I got my estimate from Cameron and had the instillation done by Leroy and Zabdi. They all were extremely professional, knowledgable and friendly. They were very willing to answer all the questions I had throughout the process. I believe I had the best crew. The sheet metal department also did a great effective job. I am very happy with the quality of work that was done as well as how quickly they accomplished everything. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

• I've reluctantly used RHP for years for our facilities' HVAC work, but my frustration has reached a breaking point. I am actively pushing my company to find a new contractor, and here's why. The office staff, with one or two exceptions, is incredibly difficult to work with. The same receptionist answers and consistently cuts you off, transferring you to the wrong person before you can even finish your sentence. Just getting to the right scheduler can take 2-3 calls. The scheduling department is the worst part. Over the years, it has only gotten worse. I've been hung up on multiple times by one scheduler, Patty, who has a massive attitude problem and has even yelled at me. Others seem bored, annoyed, and utterly uninterested in helping. The only decent person to talk to is Lisa, who is willing to listen but often forgets details, forcing me to call back and re-explain everything. The only time I ever had a good customer service experience was with a young man named David (or Daniel). He was patient, bilingual, helped our Spanish-speaking employee, and was the only one who ever emailed me back. Unsurprisingly, he no longer works there. The billing department is no better—the two ladies there give off a strong vibe that they simply don't want to be bothered. It's a shame because the technicians are knowledgeable, professional, and always fix the problem. Talking to them, you get the sense that the toxic office culture comes from the top down. Final verdict: I would not recommend RHP unless you enjoy being frustrated. The good techs aren't worth the battle with the entitled and unprofessional office staff. Look elsewhere.

• I check in with my elderly 85 year old aunt 3 days a week. She had an invoice on her counter Monday for $1,300 to replace her thermostat. I don’t care what justification you have, this is complete elderly abuse. Shame on you for upselling her so high. Update to my one star review. RHP called me and complained about my bad review and were unwilling to make it right. The unit they installed can be purchased on the shelf for half of what they charged, they left the new box on the counter. Preying on the elderly is unacceptable and I’m not changing my stance on this.

• I used RHP to replace my mother's HVAC system. Her existing system was working, our need was not critical. However the response was almost immediate! Adam came out and reviewed everything and offered options. We were scheduled the very next week. The workers were timely, considerate and professional. They worked diligently. After the installation, RHP used a firm to clean up the access opening (it was quite tight.) Cade was timely and detail oriented: it looks better than it ever did. I highly recommend RHP.

• Recently had my HVAC units serviced by RHP. A few days after the service while walking in the yard I noticed a few pieces of insulation on the ground near the AC condenser. Apparently the insulation on the refrigerant line was partially blown off from pressure washing the condenser. While not a serious problem I would have expected the technician to repair the problem or at least say something about the missing insulation. So on Monday I called RHP and explained the problem to someone in the office. They said they would refer the information to a manager. By Thursday I had not heard from them and I called their office again. Now it's two weeks later and still no response from RHP. Very disappointing from a company whose prior work was fine. Prior to this incident, I was in a very popular Reno warehouse where I spoke with the RHP representative promoting their HVAC units. I was interested with his product but now I would not consider them for any work. Their quality of service and customer communications are unacceptable. I don't think the principles of the company would approve.
