• I will FOREVER be grateful to Scottco, specifically Ronnie, for taking care of a gas line issue at my elderly mother's home today. We had started with another plumber at my mother's request several weeks ago. Those people made her wait 2 weeks for the fix, which means she went without hot water that entire time. Then, they came and did the yard work and proceeded to tell us they now needed to replace everything inside...naturally for more money. I called Scottco and Ronnie came out around 10 AM, told us what was REALLY wrong, and had the issue fixed same day. Anyone who reads this looking for a plumber or electrician or HVAC technician should call Scottco. My husband and I have used them for almost a decade, and today they went above and beyond. I will be forever grateful for their honesty and integrity and the quality work they provide.

• I had Scott Co come out to look at why my HVAC system is not keeping up with cooling. It cost $300 for less than an hour of there time. They told me my TXV was bad and needed replaced. They gave me a quote for $4953. This included a new TXV and the labor to replace it. It also included 14 pounds of R422B refrigerant at $278/lb. I had A&R come out a couple days latter they actually did a leak test and found the TXV is fine but there was a joint leaking on the evaporator coil. They where able to fix the leak and fill the system back up for $1600. The refrigerant was $75/lb. Scott Co is over priced and wouldn't have even fixed my problem. I recommend A&R for anyone.

• I went ahead and made a new review since Scottco felt like lying on there first reply. Y’all have not fixed any problem yall have caused since stick in the new unit. Y’all have been to my house 10 times and yet the problem still occurs because of yalls laziness. So don’t falsely claim to have the problem fixed like you tried on my last review scottco. They claimed to stay and verify the system was working, but the system shutoff within 15 minutes of it first starting and the workers were already gone since it was a Friday. The workers sat in there truck for over 30 minutes doing nothing. Scottco falsely claimed it was a break from the heat in my last review. I’m sorry but not break is over 30 minutes. Paid 8k to have multiple days of coming home to my home above 80. Use any other company besides them.

• We’ve used Scottco for almost every plumbing and electric issue we’ve had. They installed our tankless water heater 5 years ago. We woke up on July 21st to a lack of hot water and called Scottco to come repair the problem. The tech and his helper showed up and diagnosed the problem. They told my husband the flame sensor was dirty. He cleaned it and said WE should order the part, it would need replaced. My husband called the manufacturer to order the part and was told it was only sold to the contractor. So, my husband called Scottco back and was told the tech would get back with him. Crickets and more crickets. So, after paying $280 for a service call that only temporarily corrected the problem, we were back to no hot water. I will not call them again.

• Had Scottco come out to give me a quote for wiring up and installing lights and electrical outlets in my new built shop. The technician who came out was professional and knowledgeable. However Scottco's quote was $5k more than the other companies I have had come out and quote me and then charged me $54 dollars for a quote that was never disclosed prior to setting up the appointment. Thier materials are over priced and they charge $50 per hour more for labor than thier competitors. Guess that why they feel the need to charge for a quote.

• Scottco has become a giant scam. They wanted to charge me 2,000$ AN HOUR FOR LABOR WHEN THE 3 PARTS ARE UNDER WARRANTY. Save yourself the trouble and call Grizzle! We have been without AC in 100 degree weather for a week! First time a rude old man came out said the lines frozen and we have to wait until the next day for it to thaw.. the line thawed in an hour but whatever. Next time a really nice younger man came out said he was going to be replacing 3 parts and making the intake bigger but would have to come back. He wasn’t sure if they were the issue but they are under warranty so it would just be 84$ an hour for labor, maybe 3 hours. Today the old man showed back up. I told this old man that’s what the younger tech said and he said no it’s 2k an hour for labor. Haha leave, leave right now, I’m done with Scottco and will never trust them again. I would suggest you call literally anyone else before them. I called Grizzle and they are sending someone today to fix it so we don’t have to be without AC any longer. That old man should go home and retire, not interacting with customers. Dude was a jerk both times I met him. I’m already grumpy bc I haven’t had ac all week, maybe don’t try to clearly scam me?? Gross. UPDATE- none of the parts they wanted to replace needed to be. The other company was able to get the unit running in an hour for a little over 80$. The coil had dog hair on it and the filters I’ve been using were too restrictive. Do not trust these ppl. I didn’t have AC for a week and was almost out thousands of dollars for something that didn’t even need to be done. Will be reporting this to the BBB.
