Overall I think the service I received was good. I do feel their prices were on the high end $3,500 especially since I purchased two HVAC’ from them in the past three years and had the vents cleaned and ultra violet lights installed which costed over 25k. I will have to repaint and I just painted the area in June. I do think that moving forward I will have to get multiple quotes before selecting a company even if it is a hot water heater or HVAC

Honestly, Semper Fi has been great to us. First, just know that when they come out for the “free” tune-up, the person is also there to sell. That’s part of the job. Be prepared to either say no or move forward if you actually need a new system. In our case, our units were about 20 years old, so we already knew replacement was coming eventually. One thing I would definitely pay attention to is financing. We were originally told we could get 18 months with no payments, but we didn’t qualify for that particular option. That was something I should have paid closer attention to. Make sure you understand exactly what you qualify for before signing. With that said, the actual installation was AMAZING. They replaced our entire HVAC system. Two guys worked for about 17 hours in one day, had great attitudes the entire time, and worked incredibly hard to get everything completed. About a month later, we had a major leak that damaged our upstairs ceiling. We called Semper Fi, they came out, identified the issue, and took responsibility for it. They quickly sent another crew to permanently correct the problem, and then arranged for a third-party drywall company to repair the damage. That part really changed my opinion of the situation. Problems happen. What matters to me is how a company responds when something goes wrong, and they handled it. I know Semper Fi gets some negative reviews, and for a while I was frustrated too because of the financing and the issues we experienced. But looking back, the financing misunderstanding was ultimately something I should have paid closer attention to, and when there was an actual problem with their work, they owned it and fixed it. The people we dealt with were genuinely kind, hardworking, responsive, and seemed like they were doing everything they could to make things right. I would use them again and I would recommend them. 🙂
