When my combination boiler unit wasn't working I called Service Right and had a great experience speaking with owner Jolly. He was honest, knowledgeable, and took the time to understand my particular situation rather than simply trying to sell me services. He gave me straightforward feedback, helped me navigate the different options, and pointed me toward the solution that made the most sense for my specific job. Ultimately, with the information that Jolly provided the solution to my problem was a different option that didn’t require Service Right, but I really appreciated that Jolly shared his expertise and give me helpful advice. That stood out and I will be using in the future based on this exchange.

Had an issue with one of my HVAC units leaking water from various places. Did a search for reasonably close HVAC repair places and picked this one because of the ratings and reviews. I was not disappointed. Jolly came out a few hours later and got me running again. The price was reasonable and stayed with what was originally predicted. I will be calling again later to do my maintenance check.

I called Jolly with Service Right LLC, a couple of weeks ago, after a disastrous experience with a mid-sized HVAC contractor who wanted to replace our entire system (Carrier gas furnace with central AC) for $18K, when we only needed to replace the blower motor. HVAC technicians like Jolly are a truly rare commodity these days. He is straightforward, honest and extremely competent. Really couldn't ask for more! He responded promptly, went out of his way to help secure the blower motor at a very reasonable price and replaced it with utmost professionalism. Couldn't be happier!! Very lucky to have found him!!

I called on a Saturday morning after learning my tenant’s A/C wasn’t working properly. The technician was quick to move the conversation to text where he explained his rates and refused to answer any questions (like when he expected he could come) until I agreed to the service change. After agreeing and asking the question two more times, he responds “before 5pm,” effectively the entire day. I think to myself, no big deal—he’ll let me know when he’s on the way so I can communicate that with the tenant. Flash forward to 3pm when he says he’s on his way. I immediately inform the tenant who advises me he had stepped out but would be back in 5-10 minutes. I informed the HVAC technician immediately but he doesn’t respond. I eventually call him only to receive an attitude on the other line saying he left the moment he realized no one was home. We argued for a bit until finally my tenant called him and pleaded with him to return over an hour later. Once he actually arrived, he charged me 3 hours of labor (over $800 total) for ~15 min of troubleshooting and a deep clean on the condenser… a task that should’ve only taken a pro ~45 min. If you value honesty and good communication, this is NOT the company to call. EDIT: conversation screenshots showing the level of unprofessionalism you can expect.

I honestly can’t recommend Service Right enough. I needed to replace my entire HVAC system because it was old and failing. I contacted several contractors, but my experience with Jolly and his team was completely different from the very beginning. Jolly personally answered the phone, and within about 30 minutes he was already at my house looking at the system. Instead of simply giving me a price like everyone else, he immediately explained what was actually wrong, pointed out several mistakes made during the previous installation, and showed me what they were going to correct while installing the new system. He recommended a budget-friendly option without trying to upsell me, gave me a very fair price, offered to register all of the equipment warranty himself, and even suggested that I buy my own Ecobee thermostat online because it would save me money. His team installed it for me at no extra charge, while other companies wanted hundreds of dollars just to install a thermostat. The installation itself was incredible. They arrived on Saturday when it was most convenient for me and spent nearly 13 hours working nonstop. They completely removed the old furnace, coil, condenser, and all the old materials, corrected previous installation issues, installed everything neatly, cleaned up after themselves, and made sure everything was ready for inspection. They even labeled everything properly so the inspector would have no issues. Every question I had was answered. They explained everything they were doing, never rushed me, and made the entire process stress-free. What really impressed me was that they went above and beyond. I had an old water heater sitting in my basement that wasn’t even part of the job. I asked if they could help me get rid of it, and without hesitation they loaded it into their truck and took it away for me at no extra charge. You can tell these guys genuinely care about doing the job the right way instead of just getting in and out. Professional, knowledgeable, honest, hardworking, and extremely detail-oriented. Replacing an entire HVAC system is a major investment, but Service Right made the whole experience as easy as it could possibly be. I would absolutely hire them again and recommend them to anyone looking for an HVAC company. Thank you, Jolly and the entire team!

This was my first time having an issue with my a/c and I thought it was a mere Thumbtack fix. After several conversations and spending nearly $1k and before spending anymore that the Thumbtack vendor insisted I needed to pay, I Googled for a different analysis and quote for my problem and found Service Right, LLC. They responded right away! After 11pm that night and showed up at 6am the next day. His price policy was direct, clear and fair! He confirmed what I suspected was happening with my previous vendor and explained clearly that my system was already working fine!! The vendor turned the power off from the outside so I couldn’t verify this myself. I appreciated Service Right’s honesty. As a single woman with a lot of responsibility, it’s a shame there are people actually trying to swindle you in this economy.

While perhaps not the cheapest you’ll find, he was a very good communicator and upfront with what the costs would be ahead of time. If you’re okay with his quote, I suspect you’ll be happy with the end results (I was).
