We called Snell to inspect our HVAC system and were told the whole system needed to be replaced due to a compromised air exchanger and corrosion on the AC coil. The technicians were professional, respectful, and did a great job. We’re happy with the quality of the work and are just waiting for the final inspection. My main concern was the price. Even with a good discount, the quote seemed high compared with what some of our neighbors paid for similar-sized homes and systems. I also felt some pressure to make the decision quickly. After shopping around, I found other companies offering significantly lower prices. Overall, the work was good, but I would recommend getting a few quotes and comparing prices before making a decision.

Had a new HVAC / AC system installed this week. Techs Jorge, Dan, and Davide were very curtious and did great work. They were very efficient and managed to do it all without any invasive drilling. At the end Davide went through how to use the new thermostat, how to check the HVAC for drain clogs, filter replacement, and answered all the questions my wife and I had. I've had my water tank replaced by Snell previously and that was also a very clean and efficient job. They are a little $$$ but they worked with us on that, and you are definitely getting excellent work and top of the line equipment. Higly recommend Snell.

SNELL has taken care of my house for years! They're incredible not only on the HVAC part, but taking care of their customers. HVAC tech Rabindra is a fine example of their "stand-up guys" slogan, every time he's been here to check our heating and cooling, he's been friendly, upfront, and easy to work with. He always explains what is going on, what tests he needs to do, and is a great hang. I'll recommend you go with SNELL for whatever heating or cooling needs you have!

We had an outstanding experience with Snell Plumbing, specifically with Master Technician Kevin. He came out on a Saturday to investigate what initially seemed like a very isolated and unusual water-pressure issue affecting our master shower and bathroom faucet. What impressed us was how quickly Kevin went beyond simply treating the symptom and started identifying the underlying causes. We have owned our home for less than a year, and Kevin uncovered several issues that had not been identified during our original home inspection. This is where 25+ years of real field experience makes an enormous difference. He identified deteriorated O-rings and seals, explained how certain toilet-tank cleaning products can prematurely damage rubber components, and even pointed out maintenance requirements for the filters in our shower heads that we had never been made aware of when purchasing them from a major retail store. Some of these filters require replacement far more frequently than we realized, and the accumulated restrictions were contributing to the pressure problems we were experiencing. Once Kevin worked through these issues and corrected them, our water pressure returned to where it should be. More importantly, he took the time to explain why each problem was occurring instead of simply replacing parts and leaving. That kind of troubleshooting ability is extremely difficult to substitute for. There is a major difference between someone who has worked in a trade for a few years and someone who has spent more than two decades diagnosing unusual residential plumbing problems. Kevin demonstrated that difference immediately. He was also professional, patient, extremely personable, and wonderful around our children throughout the entire visit. The fact that this level of service was provided on a Saturday made the experience even more impressive. We were confident enough in Kevin and Snell after the visit that we signed up for their annual service/warranty program, and Kevin was able to apply the appropriate portion of today's diagnostic/service cost toward that program as well. Absolutely five-star service. If you have a plumbing issue that requires someone who can actually diagnose the cause instead of just addressing the obvious symptom, Kevin is the type of technician you want walking through the door. Snell Plumbing is fortunate to have someone with his level of experience representing the company.

I made an appointment with Snell yesterday for service on my HVAC system for 9/23/26. Rabindra Budhathoki was sent out. He serviced my unit explained what he had done, showed me the pictures. He suggested a water sensor which I agreed was a good idea. He did everything in a timely matter. I would definitely recommend Snell, especially Rabindra.

The employees I dealt with at Snell Plumbing were extremely courteous, professional, and pleasant. Unfortunately, I had a significant concern with the company’s internal communication and coordination. Loudoun County had confirmed a leak in my water service line, so I contacted Snell based on their excellent reviews to get a second estimate. They were scheduled to come to my home at 8:00 a.m. At 8:00 a.m., Snell called and told me that the plumber had called out sick and that they weren’t even sure whether they could do the work. I was told they would call me tomorrow to confirm whether they could perform the work. A little while later, I called Snell to confirm that the appointment was canceled. I reached an AI assistant, explained the situation, and was told I needed to speak with a real person. I remained on hold but never reached anyone. Two hours after the original 8:00 a.m. call, Snell called saying they were on their way. I explained what had happened that morning. Shortly afterward, a different plumber from Snell called saying he was at my community gate to inspect the line. I repeated the same information I had been given that morning. He said his manager had just told him that they could do the work. For a major repair that could cost thousands of dollars, this level of internal miscommunication was concerning. It was a very unfortunate experience, particularly because everyone I personally dealt with was so courteous and professional.

Easy scheduling. Lhijee Doverte (tech) arrived early in the scheduled window. He then quickly (within one minute) identified what I needed to do to correct an issue on our electrical panel. Thanks Lhijee and Snell! Highly recommend both this technician and Snell for any home electrical issue.

$500 for a tech to spend 10 minutes cleaning the coils in my ground floor AC unit is way overpriced. Apparently my annual maintenance plan is just a business development exercise. Update: I returned the call from the “manager” only to be told it was automated by the representative on the phone. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. BEWARE.

Our AC unit broke and Snell replaced it for us. They understood the urgency and fit us in for replacement the next morning. They were extremely professional, very kind, and went above and beyond (even brought heavy, unrelated packages inside for me just to be helpful). They do excellent work, were thorough in reviewing the new system with us, and were easy to work with. Highly recommend for any home needs.

Ron Jones from Snell Heating and Air was absolutely fantastic to work with. He represented the Snell brand with dedication, excellence, and professionalism. He communicated exceptionally well, knew his job thoroughly, and clearly explained what the code requires and how a proper setup should be done for a whole-home generator. He described step by step how the process would go and how the equipment would be installed. I would absolutely recommend Ron Jones to represent Snell in any situation, given how excellent this interaction was.

Had a great experience with Henry and Jimmy this week. We had a gas leak from our heater and Henry was able to quickly determine it was from our control valve. Since we had a new heater (5 years old) he called hq to figure out if we were still under warranty. We were, so he saved us a ton of money on labor and parts. He placed the order for the replacement part. Two days later, the part arrived. Jimmy very quickly did the replacement and conducted a retest. He also showed me how to replace the batteries in my outdoor sensor, which were out. Highly recommend!

HVAC: Two out of thirteen months without air conditioning or heating at all, and the unit has crapped out again. And I was warned that even with the expensive "all included warrantee" that I might have to pay to fix it. Even with the monthly payment to ensure I can get service at all, it is more than a day before I get service. The last unit completely crapped out exactly as the warrantee ended, cost me thousands yearly in repairs. Salesman tried to charge me over $40,000 for a $!2,000 unit. Tried to kick him out before the price suddenly dropped significantly, and got a promise that all repairs would be included. This company has incompetent repair people who will ignore your concerns. The two months the unit didn't operate - discovered that an internal component was never plugged in at all.

Our technician Rabin was truly outstanding today. We had purchased a system from Snell several years ago but it had never worked optimally. Rabin to a considerable amount of time to check the entire system and then calibrate it to cool the house more effectively. The difference was almost immediately noticable. You simply don't get this attention to detail any more and this is exactly why we stay with Snell. Outstanding work!

I was very pleased with Gary’s care of my HVAC system and his recommendations for the next visit. If possible, I would appreciate having him as my technician on a regular basis for consistency, and my understanding of how my system is performing over time. 9/10/26 Today was Gaston’s service day. He was kind, efficient, and gave me tips on the maintenance of my system as well as what to prepare for in the future concerning my system’s life expectancy.

Scheduled an appointment for Saturday to have a plumber come out. The company called and said no one could come out and rescheduled us for Sunday. Cancelled again on Sunday trying to reschedule Tuesday. We could have used a different a company to fix our kitchen sink by now. What a waste of time and inconvenience.
