  • Id never use these people's service.

  • Nasty hateful, road rage maniacs driving today at 3.45p.m. on HULL ST. Speed off so I couldn't take a photo of their faces but extremely unprofessional.

  • Stemmle just pumped my septic tank. The young men who came were efficient, courteous and very pleasant. The office personnel I dealt with were as well and the charge was very reasonable.

  • Garin & Sasha did a great job taking care of a leaking toilet. They called to let me know they were on the way, arrived when they said they would, and were friendly and professional.

  • We called today for a septic issue. They were able to dispatch a pump crew to come clear the tank. Jorge and Marcel were prompt, friendly, and extremely professional. If I owned a company they are exactly the kind of employees I would be scouring for. 100/10 would call them back for any and all future septic issues. Edited review: hate to do this because the work was done well and they came out same day but… we had a new well pump installed 2ish months ago. Had to call them back out today to repair a failed part and it was a 500$ bill. A 3500$ repair should carry a parts and labor warranty that lasts longer than a financial quarter.

  • One of their drives merged into my vehicle. Could care less about it when he pulled over. I called his company and reported it to them. They called me the next day acting like a pocket dial, talking about that employee is done, he's fired, on and on, then hung up on me. A couple weeks later I see that employee driving the same busted van with the damage on it he did to my vehicle. This company is full of liars. Do not trust them.

  • I had a technician named Javin come out to one of my properties in Powhatan to address an issue with the septic system and a backed-up toilet, and I was extremely impressed with his service. He was professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. He communicated everything clearly, took the time to explain what was going on, and made sure I understood the work that needed to be done. His customer service was exceptional, and he was genuinely pleasant to work with from beginning to end. It’s refreshing to have someone show up, do their job well, and treat you with respect at the same time. Javin did an amazing job, and I would absolutely recommend him and Stemmle Plumbing to anyone needing septic or plumbing services. Great experience!

  • Noah B contacted me within 5 minutes of me calling their dispatch. His arrival was just as promised, and so quick for an emergency on a Sunday afternoon. I had a building full of angry residents and Noah saved our day with skill, professionalism and thoroughness to make sure the job was done well!

  • Fantastic experience. Came right out on a Sunday - Cameron T was one of the most polite, respectful, and thorough service providers I’ve worked with. He fixed my backed up sink and left my kitchen cleaner than he found it! I would recommend him without question!

  • (this is Amanda, but I left a review 7 years ago so wouldn't let me leave another). I wanted to do a HUGE shout out to Stemmle---I had water leaking from pipes that was flooding one of my stockrooms in this old building. Javin and Jordan were able to quickly assess the situation and get it resolved efficiently and help me get on with the day! They were so friendly and kind, helping me when I was stressed out on my day off trying to resolve. Kudos to them both, and super appreciate you guys!

  • Kudos to Stephen Batey for showing up on a Sunday (when else do major plumbing problems happen except perhaps Saturday night?) and removing two of the biggest, grossest, masses of tree roots from an exterior sewer line that were causing problems with drainage. Professional, diligent, nice, thorough, and an overall pleasure. Thank you, Stemmle and Stephen!

  • Unfortunately had a main water line break bright and early in the AM and the Stemmle team of Eligah, Rob, and Logan were all involved throughout the day. They worked so hard and were a pleasure to work with. Appreciate everything they did for our apartment community. I recommend this company!

  • poor diagnostician. paid for emergency services, and was completely dismissed about obvious problems. told there were no problems called a different plumber and they found multiple problems. did not complete a thorough check of area or system of concern.

  • My 84 year old aunt had a blockage in her sewer line this past Sunday so we called Stemmle and they said that they could get to us in about an hour. They arrived at little after 6pm and assessed the situation. They told us that there would be a dispatch fee of $189, which we understood and then they searched for and located the blockage by way of a clean out located in the garage (floor) and cleared the blockage with a "snake"after pushing the snake in roughly 12' (the blockage was soft and was flushed away by flushing toilets (2 downstairs, 1 upstairs). They were through in less than an hour and left just before 7pm. They charged the dispatch fee of $189 plus a fixed fee for snaking the 12' of sewer line of $592 for a total of $781. The two plumbers that were dispatched were polite and knowledgeable but the fee that Stemmle charged, $781, seems excessive for less than an hours work.

  • Very impressed overall with this company. We had a sewer line issue, so I called the emergency line around 5pm on a Saturday. By 8pm that same evening, Elijah had not only arrived but identified and fixed the problem. He was professional, communicative, and calm. When I called him the following week to schedule a sewer scope during normal business hours, he got back to me right away and scheduled us immediately. My "usual" plumber/contractor happened to be at the house when Elijah was doing the sewer scope, and it just added to my trust that they both were on the same page about what they were seeing (especially since my plumber understood the issues way better than I did!). Ultimately we scheduled a sewer line replacement, and it was easy working with Elijah's manager Chris and the back office to schedule and pay. The whole team worked efficiently and quickly to get both the sewer line and the water service line replaced in a single day. Everyone who was working in our yard was polite and professional. I hope I never need emergency plumbing services again 😅 but if I do I will definitely call these folks.

  • Cody and Trey are simply amazing. They were able to come out, figure out the issue, and fix it for a reasonable price. They were even able to fix an issue that other companies overlooked and were able to explain, in detail, why it occurred. I will be using Stemmle for all my needs and specifically asking for Cody and Trey to come out.

  • We had to have our drain field lines replaced and Aaron,Jason,Rab and Logan did a wonderful job. They were kind efficient and worked very hard to get our job completed. I would highly recommend Stemmle to anyone who needs septic work done.

    Lilla R.

  • Wanted to highlight how fast and efficient Stemmle was in helping me identify that my septic tank was not only backed up to my house but also ways to remediate my issue. Trey came out at 9pm and was here till 1:30am helping us with the backed up line. He advised us on how to move forward and the next morning Michelle gave me a courtesy call about the septic man. Sh’pollo was the most respectful and mindful worker with our garden bed and the nearly 100 year old property. He proceeded to educate us on what he discovered and made an effective plan on what we could do to save money in the future and what to do in the meantime. 10/10 will be calling Stemmle in the future and strongly recommend these technicians.

  • The main sewer line in our commercial office building was completely blocked. This meant a shut down of all restrooms in the building. Jehisson responded, after hours, with the right equipment and the right attitude. He quickly identified the issue with the sewer camera and resolved the issue.

  • I reached out to Stemmle on the Saturday of Easter Weekend for a clogged toilet emergency at a commercial site. Lenard was our rescuer and was so pleasant and efficient. This world needs more Lenard's!! Thank you again for all you did.

  • THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU, Stemmle Plumbing for hiring Joshua and Garin!! For the first time since 2010, I have continuous hot water in my shower!!! I had a HUGE emergency plumbing problem last Friday. They came within 45 minutes, assessed my situation, stopped the water from pouring out down into my bathroom. We discussed what to do. They installed a new water heater quickly; they found the water lines had been mixed up, corrected that and didn't leave until everything worked right. I am ssoooo grateful that I can now take a really nice hot shower and not dread it. Thank you, Josh and Garin! Also, (since I didn't put a review online then) last July, Kyle did a wonderful job of making sure that a really bad plumbing problem was correctly taken care of. He even gave me his cell # so I could call him, if I had a further problem. Kyle answered the phone on last Friday and told me how to get the help I needed. Thank you Stemmle Plumbing, Kyle, Josua and Garin. You have really earned my undying loyalty. Kittygayle McMoon

  • I had an amazing experience yesterday with Stemmle. John and Cody came to fix my clogged kitchen sink. We had been having problems with it for a long time. Not only wasbi impressed with thier expertise, but they treated my home like it was their own. These young men are fantastic. They were so polite and kind and cleaned up after themselves. My husband and I were blown away!! I will definitely call Stemmle again, but I want John and Cody to come out. They did an outstanding job!! Thank you guys so so much!!!

  • Ira and True were fantastic! They came out to assess a suspected leak under my house and within just a few hours, they had determined where the leak was, confirmed that it was limited to a certain area and no additional work was needed other than fixing the leak, they went and got the materials needed to fix the pipe, and completed the repair. All within 3 hours! I am very grateful for their professionalism and speedy fix of the problem, and the price was just right. I'm happy that there were no attempts to up-charge or have us do unnecessary work - Ira and True explained what needed done and answered all of my questions. I'd be happy to have them back. Great team!

  • Great experience with Kyle J and the Stemmle plumbing team. I unfortunately had the experience of a pipe freeze and burst underneath the house on a Sunday in my rental property. Called Stemmle Plumbing and Kyle showed up promptly, and fixed the issue. Great communication, sent me photos to keep me updated and answered all my questions. I won’t hesitate to ever call Kyle for any plumbing needs.

  • 5 service calls later and I am hoping my leak is finally resolved…I paid over $4,000 to have pipes replaced in my bathroom in addition to replacing of tub fixtures. First visit was to assess and provide a quote, second was to make said repairs. THREE visits later and it was finally discovered that there was a crack in one of the new PVC pipes installed. I’m a VERY reasonable person. But this was BEYOND frustrating as each time it was said to have been resolved, and a puddle would surface again. And again…Time was taken off of work THREE times more than expected. And all that was said yesterday was, “thanks for your patience”…People make mistakes. And things don’t always go as smoothly as one would hope, but I am grossly unhappy with the service.
