STOKLEY'S SERVICES was founded by my Grandfather in 1938 and we are Tidewater's Oldest Heating and Cooling Contractor. We offer quality sales, installation, maintenance, and service of the best available air conditioning and heating equipment available by the best people in the area. We have won Angie's List Super Service Award every since since 2014 (when we first started with Angie's List) with 87% of our 375 reviews giving us a solid "A" rating for price, quality, responsiveness, punctuality, and professionalism. We are not the biggest HVAC contractor in the area but we treat you like we want to be treated and not just another number.

• This review is WAAAY over do. like super overdo. I had a full Heating and cooling Air conditioner installed. installed. A month and a half ago. When it was still COLD some days. So I got to use both heating and cooling of this new unit I go to Stokley's for everything. Because I have 2 units outside and a classic radiator boiler system (the house is nearly 100 years old), the crew working on my house is great. Lovely people. allowed me to be Nosy at times! It was really neat watching them install it. Great teamwork between the crew! They will be installing the next unit.

• Very quick and professional response to our request for a new mini split in our cottage and maintenance on our existing central air and heating in our home. Installation of the mini Split was clean and professional. We received a phone call the day before installation to confirm the installation. • Great service, great price! Our A/C unit finally gave out after 30 years, so I decided to give Stokley’s a call for an estimate on a new one. I’d heard great things about them, and they absolutely lived up to their reputation! The gentleman who came out was prompt, knowledgeable, and patient with all our questions. He helped us select the best replacement for our home — a heating/cooling heat pump system. Check! Here’s the amazing part: the unit that arrived turned out to be a higher-end heat pump model — more expensive than the A/C unit I originally ordered — but he didn’t charge me the difference! Check, check!! I was expecting a long wait due to the supply chain and transport issues that have affected so many businesses in recent years, but my unit arrived earlier than projected and was installed immediately. The installation crew was efficient, professional, and careful. Our unit sits behind some tricky, detailed landscaping, but they navigated it with ease and left everything spotless — you’d never know they’d been there. Check, check, check!!! Since the installation, we’ve discovered that this new system runs far more efficiently than our old radiator/boiler heating setup, and our cooling costs have dropped significantly.
